NFL

it does get worse for them Pete, they play the Texans this week who are 0-2 at the moment. They beat the SUperbowl Champs and McNabb's Redskins. They are seriously looking down the barrel of 0-3 which could spell disaster for them.

It's quite possible 0-2 will become 0-4\. In which case season over. Got caught up in superbowl hype is my guess for the poor start. They haven't created enough pressure on defense, discipline has been an issue and their offense seems to have little cohesion other than the Romo/Austin combo. If they can knock off Houston on the weekend well they'll give themselves a chance.

Cowboys and the Vikings finally got their first wins of the season. I was surprised the Texans were so soft against the Cowboys. Smeg's Eagles had a comfortable win and the Rams of all teams beat the highly fancied Redskins….wow! The Steelers juggernaut continues on with another win today. They have got the Ravens next week in Pittsburg and it's Big Ben's last game of his suspension. If we can beat the Ravens we'll be 4-0 with the bye round and then the return of Big Ben!

I was quite surprised the Saints got pipped by the Falcons. I really think the Texans missed a huge opportunity today. For the first half Dallas still wasn't great and had they got it together we may've been 0-3\. Credit though. Apparently the attack was far more convicing and we got ourselves a few turnovers too. Bye week next for us.

Jets just went from 14-0 to 14-17 down to the Dolphins midway 3rd. Upset alert!

Great game tonight between the Bears and the Packers. Went down to the last 8 seconds with the Bears kicking a field goal to win it 20-17.

Chargers are having a terrible opening to this season. You can tell that we are really missing Vincent Jackson and it sucks to see LT getting back to form now at the Jets.. Went down to Seatle yesterday after two kick return touchdowns cost us in the end. Tough one against Arizona next week.

What an unpredictable start it's been. The Saints have been losing, even the Colts have lost. The Cowboys, Vikings and Chargers aren't faring so well and yet the Dolphins have looked good, the Bears are undefeated and even Kansas City have been amongst the winners.

Eagles lost to the Redskins by 3.

Vick was lost early to a rib injury and they did well to fight back.

McNab returning to his old stomping ground proved too much though

The Skins are turning the nfc east upside down right now. Hoping the Giants lose to Chicago this arvo. It makes this division a real tough read right now.

once again the 49ers show another way to lose a game.

and then we have lsu show again they are willing to throw games away yet the other team doesn't want the win either.
the last 5 min of this video shows how bad we can be at times on the sidelines.

between the 49ers,lsu and wests tigers i can't see how i can possibly live another 5 years.

Steelers are 3-1, hitting the bye, and have Ben back for the remainder of the season.

They are looking good this year.

You can thank Troy Polamalu for the 3-1 record. The guy is a beast in defense and it's clearly evident that we missed him BIG TIME last year when he was injured. With Polamalu firing and Big Ben back I'm quietly confident we'll have a better year than last year.

I'm disappointed with the new college football rankings with my beloved BSU dropping from number 3 to number 4 but I understand why. Even though we won 59-0 and using our 2nd and 3rd string team for much of the game, Oregon were amazing against Stanford. I actually stopped watching the Boise State game because it was boring to watch and started watching the Oregon vs Stanford game which was a lot more exciting. Late in the 3rd Stanford were leading 28-21 and I was wondering if we were looking at an upset but it seemed like Oregon decided they were done messing around and just blew Stanford out of the park winning 52-21\. I seriously can't see anyone beating Alabama for the BCS Championship game. They clinically dismantled Florida and showed why they're daylight ahead of anyone else.

Polamalu for sure- but the improved OL & the return of Aaron Smith go A LONG WAY to the record as well.

You on Planet Steelers?

don't be too disappointed,if the bcs standings came out today you would be ranked 2nd.
while people laugh at the boise schedule,so far it has actually been tougher than the teams ranked around you.
computers rank boise high while ohio state ranks terrible with the computers.
but as teams now enter the meat of their schedule the tables turn on boise

i don't think we will but if lsu beat florida and auburn they would rocket up the rankings.the computers rank lsu 3rd while their bcs rank would be around 7th today.
i can see bama losing a game this year.you must have a running game to beat bama and they haven't faced one yet,but there are some in the schedule coming up.

As of today I am a steelers fan. Been watching a few games this year and it took me all day to decide to go for the steelers

You're in great company Blakeeeeeee. We're coming along just nicely and with our star quarter back Big Ben Roethlisberger coming back from suspension next, it'll make things rather interesting. Trust me….good times ahead!
