The decision was made 48hrs ago…just not made public yet…Cotric to Raiders 100%

Im not overly upset if this is the case.

Coptic is a handy player but the Money needs to be right to allow us to continue to build.

Yep. Cotric is definitely the type of player we need to stand our ground on, he's not exactly a centre, he's on big coin and won't win us a comp.

he is a good rep winger not a centre
no big loss if we miss out on him

But of the current squad players who are fit, he'd be our best centre. Plus he'd provide cover for Laurie at Fullback. At present we have no backup for FB

Whilst I'd like Cotric at our club, if we didn't get him it wouldn't be the end of the world. Sheens and Co seem to have a very solid plan moving forward and if we can get him for what we are willing to pay, then fine. Otherwise oh well.....

Yeah we've got Kepaoa and the young man scolari who could turn good.

But depth would be good too.

that would really be the biggest benefit of it really....good competition for spots in the run on side. Cotric would be walk up, but making sure it's not a free ride is paramount

better loading up at a bigger name or using it to upgrade Stef and or Laurie
we don't want to get lumped with cotric salary for year 23 and 24 at a premium price
As a winger if say we didn't have Nofo then yes otherwise No

Bull dog reckons he wants to stay in Sydney, that will be key.

But he does have family down there plus it really isn’t up to Cotric its up to the Bulldogs whichever team is going to help them the best will determine where Cotric goes

They can't force him to go anywhere.

Whichever club is willing to help Dogs the most that’s the club they’ll release him too its clear he’s expressed interest in both Tigers and Raiders but whichever club is gonna help the Dogs the most that’s the club they’ll release him too so ultimately the decision isn’t up to him

He can just say he isn't going if it is to the club he doesn't want and the Dogs have to honour his contract

That would be a last resort I think he doesn’t seem happy at the Bulldogs but I could be wrong if he did that he wouldn’t play footy for them unless injuries or suspension come into play but let’s just see what happens

That’s exactly what’s happening. If the Raiders chip in more than us,
he will be released to the raiders. His preference is us, however he is still happy to go back to the raiders

So done deal to the Raiders?

Still up in the air at this point it just comes down to whoever pays the Bulldogs more

I hope it also depends on what Cotric wants as well - I wouldn't want him here if he doesn't want to be

I thought Jacko Hastings played a bit of fullback in ESL....he could cover for Laurie if NEEDED,and Douhie to 5/8....if Im right about JH....

Games I watched no good at full back worse than Doueihi even mbye

Wouldn't worry me too much if we missed out on Cotric, but if we get him for the the right deal then well and good.

Has to be remembered that he didn't exactly have the greatest season on the wing at the dogs scoring only 3 tries, where Okonbor actually scored 5 from half the number of games that Cotric played, just as a comparison.

Looking at the NRL stats, it shows that his tackle efficiency is not even as good as Nofo's and we all know how everyone on here complains about Nofo's Defensive efforts.

I realize that stats don't always tell the whole story, but in this case they seem to be fairly representative of the underwhelming season that he had at the Dogs.

Not saying he wouldn't make a meaningful contribution to our backline, but we should be very careful how much of our cap we use to get him here, not to mention the spot he would take up in our top 30.

Hastings did play some fullback for Wigan but he wasn't great in that position

In 35 years watching the game that Bullldogs attack was the most predictable rubbish I’ve seen. Their halves were atrocious. Yes I am aware they flogged us too. I don’t want to pay overs for Nick but I think he was floundering without quality playmakers.

I'd probably just put a deadline on it and be done with it. Presumably we've made an offer, bulldogs should stop stuffing around. I like how we moved on from Hodgson, even though I wanted him. Also helps future negotiations if people know we're not that patient with our options and can find alternatives fast. As others have said, it's their salary cap problem, let them enjoy it.

Lol.... Careful of splinters up on that fence.

There were many things bad about the Tigers last year. Few forwards able to offloads, lack of agression in attack and defence. Poor coaching, a promising but not experienced fullback, but most of all was the lack of speed from 5/8 to the wings. Cotric paired with Gildart and some promising youngsters would i think with Hastings calling the shots, change the whole dynamics of the side. I HOPE WE GET HIM.

Cotric to play in the NRL next season. More news as it comes to hand.

japanese rugby, truth,. from a friend of a friend from a freind.still in talks with USA rugby, with a boxing match inbetween before he decides standing in a back line somewhere is easier then a joe/janet average job

He would rather play for the Canberra who initially sacked him.
