No goal kicker for three years = farcical

How can we have spent 9 million and not prioritised a goal kicker? That is 3 games lost. Simple maths tells you that you will lose games like this.

Whoever has overseen signings, Pascoe, needs to be fired.

Someone had to say 'hey, maybe kicking 10-15% lower than every other team might cost us'.

Amateur hour stuff.

Yep, we would have made the finals last year and this year if we had a goal kicker. Simple thought process for anyone with an IQ over 70 but its the Tigers so there arent many of those at this club. Dumbest team in history.

Why pay for someone like Huth or Taylor when you could have got similar talent for same money who can kick goals???

Martin from the Dogs is no worse than those two and kicks 80 plus. We have so many average players that another average one who kicks / one average one out would be easy. It is not like we would have had to drop a star player to accommodate a kicker.

It HAD to be a priority.

Absolute basic roster management 101.

It is why we are a joke of a club.

Can you imagine the Storm or Rorters going three years without a kicker?

Hell, no other team does not have one. None.

@maxxn99 you could sense it from when we scored the try. He was rushing to kick it and he looked extremely nervous and hesitant, didn’t hit through the ball, just made contact with it (Mbye has been very good at striking through the ball).

Surely we have a goal kicker somewhere.... I cannot blame the Kid for missing that as he is not the full time kicker..
It's like we are jinxed... He hits the post from the sideline the try before and with all the bad calls and injuries we just always fall short.. Now 9 years without finals..

Couldnt agree more. Good teams of yesteryear could carry a bog average winger like Halligan for his 90% kicking. However the Tigers are rubbish across the park, you could throw in a gun goal kicker on a wing or centre and wouldnt look out of place with this teams current second grade ability.

Ethan Lowe is on leas money than ET, kicks 80%.

Reece Martin was available...kicked almost 90 % when a full time kicker.

How was it NOT a priority???

Reece Martin in for Huth........not leaving out BradleyClyde or Wayne Pearce.....

But leaving out a plodder like Huth....and we coukd have had a goalkicker.

And made the semis two times.

@fair-dinkum You think a senior player would have taken the time to pull Momo up and see how he felt about the kick, and try and relax him . maybe someone like thommo should have been offered the kick BUT its not unusual to find ourselves in these situations because we age DUMB when things are on the line.
