Well Farah was broken his hand so we are officially done. On top of that the refs screwed us over last night. Very very bad luck but over the course of the season nearly every team has to go through it.

Sure it was a decent performance but I don't want to see these issues of injury and refs calls over ride what a pathetic season it's been on the whole. THis is what can happen when you can't find the attitude consistently in the first 20 rounds. Like against Parra in 2009\. You cop some bad calls and one or two injuries and all of a sudden you don't have enough wins in the bank early in the season to make the finals. If we had displayed the same attitude in the first 20 rounds we would have secured our place int he finals.

Unfortunetly nearly every season under Sheens we are never above mid table after round 15 and are left hoping and praying everyone stays fit and we get on these big momentum waves. Its indicative of our inconsistent attitude and if we finish 9th it's because again, we couldn't get the wins early in the season.

I don't care about the injuries or refs, if we miss the top 8 Sheens should be punted plain and simple.

Yep. That's why I'm maintaining a win-win attitude. Make the finals, great! **Miss the finals, at least Sheens will be gone and we can start fresh**.

Lol don't hold your breath

If we miss the 8 in 2012 Humphrey's needs to at the very least tell Sheens he is on his last chance and if things don't change by say Round 10 2013 he's goneski

But it won't happen , and we all know that

make the finals, not make the finals, win the grand final W.E. sheens HAS to go. but gaaah as long as we're still a mathematical chance i won't bring up THAT thread again.

agree with everything u said OP. in the heat of the moment we can blame refs injuries luck etc. but again top 8 isn't decided on one game. i will ALWAYs be furious at this game if we don't make the top 8, because it came down to a wrong decision we didn't have control over, even though it shouldn't have had to come down to that.

I hope Humphreys comes down hard on Sheens rather than another last chance. Sheens has more lives than a cat!

I completely agree with the 1st post. Our season has lacked consistency and attitude. I barely recall us playing for a full 80 mins in many games, it may have happened on about 3 occasions. As for Sheens we all know he is not accountable for what happens and everything at the club is on his terms. He will go when he is ready which is wrong. Humphreys needs to show some conviction and either punt Sheens if there is a good candidate available or give him the ultimatum for next year. Just like no player should be bigger than the club I feel the same about the coach….

we r always producing 1 off stiffups and trying to comeback from them .
1 . We tackle inu with 3 players he fips them all over him then we have no markers they then score . 6 points

2 . Moltzen our fullback drops off kickoff . We can watch another 50 games and u wont see a fullback drop a kickoff .
4 points

take those 10 points away and wonder how our season would go .

3 games this season ?? Are you including NYC games as well The only game we played for 80 was the Canberra game and it was more a case of Canberra being so bad for 80 than us being good for 80

Agree totally Eddie. He has been here about 5 years too long as head coach. Our club has been marking time since the end of 2007 and all Sheens seems to do is shuffle his favourite players into whatever position he thinks will work.He dosent seem to learn from his mistakes and unlike many coaches will continue to pick players no matter how poor they are playing

No amount of injuries can justify our position this year, Sheens has to go before he destroys 2013 as well.

Ha your kidding.
Look what happened to the last CEO that wanted to put Sheens on notice.
Unfortunately Sheens is here until HE wants to go

totally agree we had all season to get it right and Sheens has alot of questions to answer .
But what happened last night is an embarresment to our code.

8 or 9 different halves combos thru the season all due to ONE injury a few weeks ago…..total overkill, tottaly unnecesarry....totally no idea

I know this, and most sane fans know this, but the people who count turn a blind eye and buy Sheens BS excuses,it's time to go Tim.

Balmain thew a million dollars (or more) to Nick Kosef & he wouldn't take the bait. Coming to Balmain or the Magpies was the end of your career. The joint venture didn't change anything. But then Tim Sheens did. Sheens is great at identifying talent & developing them (we've been overflowing with talent.) That's his strength & it counts for something cause then the unbelievable happened - Players wanted to come to our club. I couldn't believe how much things had turned around when we signed Tuqiri.

But something went wrong & we moved away from what had been working for us when we got rid of Gibbs & Fafita to buy Blair. Since then I've been worried. But Rugby League is a business & the Tigers are prominent in a competitive market so Sheens will stay.

But who could you replace him with anyway? I think a new coach would get results in the short term if he was prepared to drop players etc. I'd worry about our development though.

Your comments make a lot more sense to me than most of the others on this thread.

And that has been reflected by our how many premierships? :unamused:
