No Woods or Hayne for Australia

Hayne has a shoulder injury apparently, but other than that seems a loyalty pick by Sheens which shouldn't be unfamiliar to we Tigers.

Is this a joke, Hayne and Woods were both overlooked. Josh Morris at center…

Woodsy won't make the Aussie side until some retires.
From experience we all know it's harder to get out of a Tim Sheens side than it is to get in !

True

To make at in the Australian team you have to be consistent week in week out.
Not upset at all, Fifita missed out too so i dont really feel sorry for Woodsy.

You couldn't have woods straight into the Australian Team after last years Origin failure.
Proven big game experience required to play for the Roo's.

Barring injuries, they were always gonna stick with the team that won the World Cup so convincingly and rightly so.

Hayne or Hodges should've been at centre. It's also a strange selection because Josh normally plays on the other side except in Origin.

If it was picked on form it would be a different looking side. Woods struggled a bit with the speed of origin so that could've been why he wasn't picked.

Hayne certainly should've been picked on form well ahead of Boyd on the wing if he wasn't being used at centre, and I think it's pretty pointless carrying Cherry-Evans on the bench and would've been better served with Fifita on the bench but we all know Sheens too well (anyone can play anywhere).

Boyd is the least deserving selection of all time. He has been utter rubbish at club level for years. Somehow he scores a few walkover the line tries in rep football matches and keeps his spot. He's a nuffie.

I think thats the reason he keeps on retaining his spot - The trys he keeps on getting.
There could have been a few others picked in the team but i guess its sheens we are talking about

Jarryd Hayne injured. AC joint in his shoulder.

The Australian team was just going to be the RLWC2013 Final team. Just with covers for injuries. We know players aren't pick on form, it's all about what they CAN do, not necessarily what they WILL.

Not true. Sheens said Fifita and Papali were dropped cause of form.

It was mentioned the team would remain the same as the world cup winning team.
Pretty standard.

Sheens is a pleb anyways.

So Gallen and Hodges have been back for the exact same amount of minutes , but Gallen is more match fit

Give me a break

Hodges is a far better centre than Morris and you keep all the SOO combinations with Hodges

I know its not going to matter we will win this easily

Let me guess Fitzhenry is 18th man
