Nofa stood down from Leadership Group

What a circus. The joint is a rabble. These players leaking to reporters, don’t play hard, blame coaches. Somethings seriously wrong at the club.

Multiple sources to me doesn't mean it is all players.

So if the story is right, he turns up under the weather after a wedding and can't complete training yet is still picked to play the following game so the club can celebrate his 150th game at Bankwest. Seriously... I know what I would think as a winger in reserve grade waiting for my chance in first grade. I really hope that story is not right. No other club in professional sport would allow that.

Doueihi and Nofoaluma in the leadership group and both are defensively challenged?

Twal, Doueihi and Nofa. Be honest would any of them make a leadership group in any other club. Be honest it shows a real vacuum. Nothing against any of them, it shows a real problem

Might have been Moses after Nofo threw him under the bus

My thoughts exactly. Or his manager

Twal is inspirational. I rate him highly. Brooks also covering for Douehi during that game.

Doueihi is a real leader, Twal isn't vocal but works very hard so that's probably why they put him there, Nofa would be there purely because of his experience

We for sure lack real leadership. They're the blokes who are supposed to set standards and get the young players into line

Club silence is deafening.

If Madge is their man they need to hit the streets screaming about the direction we are going. Come out and say top tier players can go get stuffed we aim to be no1 junior platform and live or die by that

Isn’t that exactly what they have said?

It’s pretty crickets with club communication atm IMO

It’s been going on for years. I feel for the coach he can’t fix it there need to be changes higher up. It’s not acceptable if this is true.

Maybe we are taking this football thing too seriously. Maybe it's not about the football at all but just public profile. Any public profile.
The old adage, any publicity is good publicity. I think WT management were jealous that Paul Vaughn and the Red V were getting all the media attention and had to hang some of our dirty laundry out there to keep us in the spotlight.

So over these players. Never make the finals and blame others for their lack of effort. Train them hard like last year and drop again. Famous should be first

Doueihi certainly is. He’ll do the hard yards when needed. He just needs to work on his defence. In that regard he’s a bit like when Brooks first started, wasn’t the best but worked on it and now he is. That’s what Doueihi needs todo.

Yeah and I can tell he will work on it. Last year he was kicking goals at like 65% and he worked hard on it and now he's at like 80%. He's clearly very determined at improving himself as a player. Wish we had more of him

Yep...Pascoe has confirmed it.

So...we had a senior player turn up so hungover he could not train AND STILL GETS PICKED IN THE TEAM.

Zero standards. Zero accountability.

The whole Nofaluma - Madge - Lee clique absolutely stinks.

Zero standards from the coach towards the bosses favourite...yet expects the other players to listen. No wonder most have tuned him out.

And people still wonder how we have become a joke....

So which other clubs do you think he would be in the leadership group of after about 60 games?

Reading the article is sounds like the players are getting sick of doing there job... They are just whinging and think if the coach goes another one will come in and they still get paid. What Madge said in the PC about finding MEN is 1000% correct and they just don't like to hear it. These few players that have a problem with it need to GO and ASAP.

Would this mean he broke the wts bubble? Surely there are people at the wedding not part of the bubble?

Punt him !

Told ya it was Nofo destabilising the squad off and on the field..

Remember the story last year a player complained about the training and madge said you have been here 8 years and never played finals? I think you may be right.

Hobbos on the money I reckon

It’s either him or Brooks.

I thought Kenty had said it was Brooks?
