Noffa gone for the season?

Bad news, but explains his sometimes limited speed and movement in recent times. Even carrying this injury he has been busting tackles and making breaks.

I agree with the clubs decision here, get it sorted now rather than later. We have to think long term with players like him.

moltzen back could be a massive boost.

Jeez we must be very very hard up to be counting the days until he comes back. Sheesh.

:frowning:

Yeah, last full season he played in 2012 he made the most line breaks of any player in the team, was the leading tryscorer and hardly missed a tackle.
We don't need his help while we're missing so many players.

He's been out of action for so long it will take him another 18 months just to get his confidence back. No thanks.

honestly, i think that if moltzen isn't too adversely impacted by recovering from his injury he'll be a lot better than people here are predicting.

i still remembered when he won over most of the forum in keeping teddy on the wing and himself at fulllback in 2013\. Obviously, teddy wasnt playing like he has this year but moltz was playing quite well.

and this injury isnt an ACL so hopefully theres less chance he'll struggle with the twisting and turning.

Can anyone see Moltzen playing in the centre when he returns and more importantly 2015 after a good pre season? He's not going to slot in at 1,6,7 and too good for NSW Cup if he plays well, would provide good depth in the backline. Have a feeling he's played centre in his junior days

IF, and its a big if, Moltzen does return this season, with form good enough to make firsts, then he has to slot into fullback.

Austin and Moses can fight it out for 5/8 and bench.

Very brave of Nofo trying to play on in alot of games where you can always see there was something not right with his knee.
If we have an injury free year next year i think we can be a top 4 side.
