**FOXX RACE HEATING UP**
NRL.com reports Wests Tigers have tabled Addo-Carr a four-year deal to move back to Concord where his career began.
The Melbourne winger wants to transition into a full-fledged fullback and the Tigers are prepared to give him that opportunity if he rejoins the black and gold.
He recently joined the stable of Crown Sports Management and his agent Mario Tartak is working on securing a move home.
The Storm have agreed to release Addo-Carr from the final year of his contract but only if they can secure a suitable replacement for the Test and Origin winger.
NRL.com also reports Alex Johnson has turned down any interest to move to Melbourne as he wants to remain in Sydney.
**It has elsewhere been suggested the Tigers and Storm could simply swap Addo-Carr for in-form flyer David Nofoaluma.**

**Surely a David Nofoaluma for Josh Addo-Carr trade is on the cards for 2021. Great deal for both teams and players.**

Ridiculous. And reading the headline of race heating up, I expected to see another team mentioned as having entered the race for his signature, but no mention of one?
Journalists are just getting worse and worse, deliberately using really poor misleading wording. They're right up there in the parasitic status with player managers imo.
That is like the Benji story on the same page, here is the headline
Transfer Whispers: Foxx hunt heats up with mega-offer; audacious bid to sign Benji.
It goes on to say Benji has no offers from NRL and ESL clubs even though his manager is trying to get one, the bid is from Championship club Leigh Centurians.
The headlines are so misleading
Benchie can play reserve grade here. No need to go all that way for the same thing :joy:
I honestly believe the club will be way better off without Benji in or around the team, he can become an ambassador or something similar in PR, we do not want him in or around the training, coaching or mentoring of our halves.
He has no idea how to stick to a game plan, has no game management ability, we need our halves taught by someone with a way better overall game than Benji, a Matty Johns, Cronk type player, the improvement in my opinion will be very noticeable
