**FOXX RACE HEATING UP**

NRL.com reports Wests Tigers have tabled Addo-Carr a four-year deal to move back to Concord where his career began.

The Melbourne winger wants to transition into a full-fledged fullback and the Tigers are prepared to give him that opportunity if he rejoins the black and gold.

He recently joined the stable of Crown Sports Management and his agent Mario Tartak is working on securing a move home.

The Storm have agreed to release Addo-Carr from the final year of his contract but only if they can secure a suitable replacement for the Test and Origin winger.

NRL.com also reports Alex Johnson has turned down any interest to move to Melbourne as he wants to remain in Sydney.

**It has elsewhere been suggested the Tigers and Storm could simply swap Addo-Carr for in-form flyer David Nofoaluma.**

**Surely a David Nofoaluma for Josh Addo-Carr trade is on the cards for 2021. Great deal for both teams and players.**

Ridiculous. And reading the headline of race heating up, I expected to see another team mentioned as having entered the race for his signature, but no mention of one?

Journalists are just getting worse and worse, deliberately using really poor misleading wording. They're right up there in the parasitic status with player managers imo.

That is like the Benji story on the same page, here is the headline

Transfer Whispers: Foxx hunt heats up with mega-offer; audacious bid to sign Benji.

It goes on to say Benji has no offers from NRL and ESL clubs even though his manager is trying to get one, the bid is from Championship club Leigh Centurians.
The headlines are so misleading

Benchie can play reserve grade here. No need to go all that way for the same thing :joy:

I honestly believe the club will be way better off without Benji in or around the team, he can become an ambassador or something similar in PR, we do not want him in or around the training, coaching or mentoring of our halves.
He has no idea how to stick to a game plan, has no game management ability, we need our halves taught by someone with a way better overall game than Benji, a Matty Johns, Cronk type player, the improvement in my opinion will be very noticeable

Forgot who ?

Tbf, BJ hasn’t had a lot to do with many of his tries.

Not wrong.
A lot of individual brilliance.

BJ probably only had a hand in 5

Take that 5 away and he is not the top try scorer.

a Nofo and Fox swap sounds logical like i have said in the past you have to offer up someone a team might take, right now all we have is Nofo or Brooks really.
i hope we keep Nofo and get JAC, maybe they can keep momorivski

I'll forget you said that.

You really believe that, Farah played CC for us and never wanted to leave the club, Benji has never played CC for us, I personally believe Benji would never play CC for us, contrary to what he says.
He believes he is a starting half in the NRL, hence all these Benji is a good bloke being forced out by the horrible board at the WestsTigers, stories coming from his mates in the media after he got the news he won't be here next year.
That to me is a prima donna who can't take reality that his time is up, Farah was the NSW origin 9 at the time JT had him playing CC, a very poor comparison on your part

No deal
We want Fox and Nofoaluma in the same team
This is just pressure to release Talau IMO
Doueihi and Bj centres is good enough for me
Nofo and Asu wingers
Addo-Carr at the back

Momorovski back up winger / finisher and Goal kicker
Doueihi 1st choice kicker

Madge in the press conference today was just asked if a Nofo swap would be on, he shut it down very quickly with "not a chance in the world"

It's media beat up, Nof isn't going anywhere. Bring on a back line of JAC and Nofo !!

JAC is definitely better than Nofoaluma but Noffa is WT through and through. I'd rather cheer for him than JAC so that's a no deal for me.

So 2021 backline

The Foxx
Noffo
BJ
AD
AJ

Sounds pretty good to me.

Doueihi's position will be a result of how JAC goes at full back, he goes well, you will see Doueihi at 6, which I think he will excel at. He doesnt go well you will probably see Madden come in at 6 and Doueihi at fullback. We are actually very well served in the outside backs now, its good to see how well Madge has been able to flip this roster around with little room to move. Stregthening the forward pack will be the major piece of the puzzle, but getting JAC is a key component to that.

Going great in 2020, lets hope you make 20 tries and win the highest try scorer this season.
Try celebrations well always chasing our tails noticed the other night was saying to team mates lets keep playing we are still behind with 6 minutes left, job not done yet.

Think he would of been celebrating more if scored the final try to win the match.

Poor Nofo biggest handbrake is my $5 bet at $41 for top tryscorer for 2020
Also took kyle feldt and Mommorovski too so duck egg there.

True, but the storm release is conditional to them finding a replacement, doesn't have to be swap, the player can come from anywhere

One of the most ridiculous rumours I have ever heard - swap Nofo for JAC - never in a million years!!!

We want to add players to build the team not swap out - anyone who believed that..... fffftttpppp
