Nostalgia 2011 - what could have been

We came 4th on 34 points. All momentum.

We beat the Drag queens in the first final

We lost the semi final 22-20 to the Warriors. We had won the game and Inu scored in the dying minutes. I have never cried over a footy game and hopefully never will again.

Manly and NZ play the grand final, Manly take the title that should of been ours.

Sorry I was going back looking for games where we beat Brisbane. We didn't that year, they finished 3rd

I actually think 2010 was the year that could have been

Should never have lost that roosters semi & we had a stack of injuries for that Canberra game and somehow braved a win

I thought we were the better team against the dragons aswell in that prelim just a lack of game management cost us

But if we beat roosters we likely play Titans in the prelim and thump them

Even harder to think about 2010 and I dont want to look at the stats. We got very lucky against Canberra when a baby Croker missed a penalty goal to level it. Their 5/8 was hobbling but did a job. The St George game was almost as hard to watch as the Roosters semi. Roosters semi is the game i cant watch or any replay

Yep we got very lucky against Canberra.That tigers team was heart attack material lol but Benji and Farah were at the peak of their powers

Geez, they haven't changed much except for winning less Speed? I know its been overdone but Benji and Farah should have closed out that Warriors game in 2011, horrific to watch the last 15 mins. I think we go to the big show if we don't fade there and probably win. I remember the forum (or a forum) those days was looking past the warriors as easy beats and it all came undone.

I was at both games. We had bad seats at Warriors behind the posts so don't really remember much of that game.... The Roosters game I saw the loss coming long before it happened unfortunately... Wasn't nice

I went to the 2010 final against the dragons and I was sick as a dog and had to watch us fall behind to a Jamie Soward field goal to then having Keith Galloway make a break to give it to beau Ryan grubbering it to only Daniel fitzhenry chasing the ball... awful scenes
