November 4 1953 marked the debut of John Laws radio career. He began on 3BO Bendigo before moving to Sydney and in 1957 commenced the first of four terms at 2SM. Since 2011 he’s presented the morning program on 2SM and the Super Radio Network.

I went to Birrong Boys High in the 70's - the woodwork teacher there would sharpen his chisels in front on the class and drag out any kid playing up and get them to sit there while he shaved the back of their neck with the chisel, still get cold shivers about that

That is disgusting and would be classified as assault these days

53 years ago, Ron Howard went on his first date with fellow John Burroughs High School classmate Cheryl Alley.
They went to see the rerelease of the 1963 classic It’s A Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World in Toluca Lake.
Still going strong. 4 kids and 6 grandkids.
Congrats Ron and Cheryl.
