got a book from Granddad's day not long after WW2 cutting timber out of the Dandenong's in Victoria, Point being,seemed the common folk had just 1 suit to wear for leisure ,work ,n church,

Yep - it's easy to forget the N. O. Smoking Stand at the Adelaide Oval. He was a cricketing Legend - Smoking was hot during Summer and wet and miserable during the Winter SANFL season. BTW Check the Pommie Pith Helmut chap at the bottom right with his pipe - NB Puffing is technically Not smoking! 😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨
