Reminds me of legendary beer maker Chuck Hahn, who experimented with a new formula to include Vitamin B in his beers. The idea was to prevent hangovers. And it worked - unfortunately, the smell was enough to prevent the beer from ever being purchased, so yes, it prevented hangovers cos no one drank it.

If anyone doesn’t believe that the Labor Government has created a cost of- iving crisis driven by overspending, which has contributed to extreme inflation, all you have to do is compare the price of a Big Mac in 2025, $5.99, to the price in 2026, $8.50.
Fast food, restaurant and takeaway prices are generally a good a barometer for extreme inflation.
Battle of Britain Day
Today, on the 86th anniversary, we remember the Battle of Britain, fought over the skies of southern England between July and October 1940 during the Second World War.
The RAF (with members of Allied countries) fought the fighters and bombers of the German Luftwaffe for the very survival of Britain itself.
15 September 1940 was a day of extremely heavy aerial combat, when the pilots and aircrew managed to stall a seaborne invasion of southern England.
Thirty-five Australians participated in the Battle of Britain, and ten were killed in action. Our airmen were immortalised by British Prime Minister Winston Churchill in his powerful tribute to the men of Fighter Command when he said: "Never in the field of human conflict was so much owed by so many to so few."
The Battle for Britain Day Commemoration Service will take place at the Cenotaph in Martin Place, Sydney, Today 15 September 2026 at 11am, and everyone is welcome to attend.
