Not Finals Form

Getting wins are important now, not necessarily the performance given how they have played the last two weeks.

Have a lull for a couple of weeks collecting wins and then up the intensity a few notches come the finals.

Clocked off a little mentally and intensity dropped.

But doing that and wnning means hopefully we will cycle back up with more confidence next Sunday

Thanks for the voice of reason people. Probaly a bit of an over reaction :crazy . I just thought given the disruption to the Panthers team they would be playing at park standard and we would run in a cricket score.

A win is a win, but probably not the performance Sheens would have been looking for. NB **if we win every game between now and the finals we will arrive at the finals having won seven on the trot** with no real test for the last four weeks. Is that a good thing or a bad thing?

8 in a row actually.

Like many in here have said, the previous 2 big preparations, with games played at semi final intensity was always going to take some toll. It was a pretty ordinary performance by us, but I would of signed up for a 14 point win at Panther Park any day of the week.

You can't play at 100% every week or you'll burn out before the finals, weve beat Manly and Saints in successive weeks and just beat Penrith by 14 without Lote and Lawrence.. **Some people just have unreal expectations thinking a team can play the perfect game every week..**

Melbourne do and so do Brisbane, mostly

We took our foot off the pedal - should have really smashed them.
This was a good opportunity to rack up some big points so was disappointing in that respect.
Don't agree that coming off two hard wins should be a hindrance- the team should have been thinking how much they could show everybody how REALLY good they are.
