At first i thought he was having a laugh but it looks as though he's serious 😕 Like i was saying earlier SG, please explain what benefit the Raiders get out of all of this? Dave Furner's job has been on a knifes edge all yr, if they win and the Sharks lose they finish 6th and get a home final against the Sharks, a very winnable game for them, so they are a realistic chance of getting through to the second week. So what does Canberra gain by rolling over?

Canberra gain nothing but it's not their call. It's the nrls call and channel 9s call because that's where the dollars are. Not much dollars is a nql/can or sharks/can first round match up.

And ink, it's not an attention seeking post, there is corruption embedded in the core of the nrl.

Yeah mate its a real head scratcher, especailly considering Furner's job has been on a knifes edge for the last 2 yrs and a finals spot would really ease the pressure on him. I'm sure he wouldn't mind seeing his side lye down tomorrow, especially when his side has nothing to gain from it. Also they still have a chance of getting a home final where they'd play the Sharks, a very winable game for them, so they would be a realistic chance of getting through to the second week. But apparently they are prepaired to give all that up for seemingly nothing in return. Seems legit

Raiders have nothing to gain, they just do as they are told. It's better business for the nrl and channel 9 for broncs to be there and tigers over Canberra. U think titans who have played so well the last 8 weeks and with a finals spot on the line would turn in that performance v a team out of contention? They tanked that game, just like penrith tanked last night.
