a champion team will always beat a team of champions.

penrith Is a chamption team. they dont really have any world beaters but everyone in the team knows their roles and they gel well together.

I'm a little confused. What is this thread trying to achieve? Stupid question i know given who the OP is but still. So we have deduced that they have a better side then us on paper this week, what now? You really are the king of hyperbole Milkster.

Dont blame yourself - we all get confused from to time….

But to both you & Milky Way,

I believe that Potts dropped Farah & Marshall for the sole reason to assert dominance as leader. I believe Farah & Marshall were so far up themselves that they thought they were running the show. It was Potters way of showing them who was boss.
Marshall since left & Farah has become a better player since succumbing to the fact.

AHX - Farah was never dropped. He was given a short rest of no more than 15 mins from memory to see whether bringing in a fresh dummy half for a brief stint would be beneficial to the team. For the record, Farah then had an almighty whinge about it, including in the press conference.

trust me - he was dropped
Would it/ did it happen this season?

You mean he was hooked for bad play in that game? To be honest I cant remember it well, but I don't specifically remember Farah having a bad game up to that point. I think we were going nose-for-nose with Manly at the time.

Not sure I understand the point of your second question.

You wont be the only one.

No one thought we could beat the Bunnies or the Sea Eagles early on this year either.
Have some faith!

potter…dropped. the captain of the tigers, a shoein for state of origin, most probably as VC. okay mate....

he was given a rest to give (i think luani) a shot at hooker, and so as to not wear out farah during origin. It did not work and didn't please farah so mick has not done it since.

he was in great form at the time, why on earth would he be dropped? it was round 6 or something

Pretty sure it was Iosefa, not Luani.

Yep it was. It was a poor decision and Farah wasnt hooked or dropped. Potter said before the game that he wanted to test giving Farah a rest. Problem was game was on a knife edge at the time and any plan should have been shelved to keep Farah out there.

Looking at that side reminded me of Pettybourne last yr. First time i've thought about him in 6 months. What a dud he turned out to be.
