Nothing’s changed still a heart attack

Yep we let them get a couple at the end but were always comfortable barring a miracle from Parra. It shows the team we have to switch on no matter what. They played well as a unit and are improving.

My suspicion was confirmed today, our defence isn't as good as everyone thinks it is but it's way better than it has been in past years.
We we're lucky we played Parra today, I think we probably lose against a better side.
Made some really bad mistakes at crucial times to let them into the game, Benji and Kevie I'm looking at you
We can't afford to make these avoidable errors and put ourselves under unnecessary pressure while giving teams an opportunity that they didn't earn.
A glimpse of the Tigers of old reared it's ugly head in that second half, which is a bit of a concern.
Happy we come away with the two points, not sure how long we can continue to play like this and win games though.

Last 20 were poor

Yeah it was… It'll keep them grounded.
Hard not to think the jobs done at 30-6....goid teams go on with it we still have work to do.... Only gotta slacken off a little in this comp and oppositions will come back

Very frustrating watching that last 20\. Sure the coaching staff will be onto them before we head out for nz.

The lazy pass from Benji cost us a try as did the poor play the ball by Kev (although at first glance I thought we might get that penalty).
Without those two mistakes Parra wouldn't have got close.

After 3 gutsy games and today Im stoked. To be at 3/1 and should have been at 4/0 well done Team! When so many so called experts and opposition fans had us pencilled as bunch of misfits and wooden spooners. Im enjoying this with a few beers. Go Tigers thats my team. :sign: P.S cant wait to see those parra fans at work and they can show me the money.

Liddle foward pass resulted in a Parramatta try.
Benji forward pass resulted in another try.
Kevs lazy play the ball resulted in another try.

All in the space of 11 mins.

Best defence in the comp after 4 rounds, and Dragons had a zero last week. If that's not good as good as I think, then I'll take no good thanks.

I don't know why people were having a heart attack, we were up by 24\. Wasnt a great finish but we also didnt complete our sets, and with a more free-flowing game the Eels eventually made something of their ball.

Hahaha I'm workin with a Parra bloke tomorro too.. Cant wait

Benji didn't look happy after the game. Most of the Tigers players were a bit down at the end. They did so well holding onto the ball for the first 60 minutes. Up until then our completion rate was something like 29/31\. Those slip ups in the last 20 just shows the team what happens if you become unstructured.
I think our defensive is still good when we stay structured. We still beat Parra by 10 points, and at the same time we will have learnt some lessons out of the game.

We'll take something away from that, our defensive structure is great against structured sides. The Eels went to hail mary footy and we struggled.

Our attacking sets put pressure on our defence too. Forward passes and penalties saw tries scored.

Bloody hell there is a bunch of negative nancies on this forum.

Can't you just enjoy the win. Not every win is going to be pretty.

We are 3-1 when most expected us to be 0-4 to start the year.

It should have been 4-0 only for Klein.

Exactly yet people were riding us off after 15 minutes today in the live games thread lol.

It's a new team under Cleary but not everyone is on the bus it seems.

We've even got a goalkicker!!!

I think we are a good chance of beating the Storm next week, they have not been impressive at all.

They say lolohea can’t kick. Most tries on the sideline and he was kicking them.

They say we can’t score tries and that’s a massive issue. Put 30 today.

They say liddle won’t make a difference to our attack. He gave us a little taste today.

Jump on the bus guys, enjoy this run. It might not last so make the most of it rather than looking for reasons to not be happy. Go the mighty tigers.

Who makes this nrl draw ? Why are we playing the storm again ? After 3 weeks ? Noticed eels panthers play again too

God the nrl draw a joke storm don’t lose back to back games either
