Full Round 1 draw for start of 2022 NRL season revealed

The draw for Round 1 of the 2022 NRL season has been revealed.

The reigning premiers, Penrith, will kick off next year by hosting Manly at Bluebet Stadium on Thursday, March 10.

The clash pits Nathan Cleary - the Dally M and Clive Churchill Medallist - against superstar fullback Tom Trbojevic, and against opposing State of Origin halfback Daly Cherry-Evans.

The following night, on March 11, Adam Reynolds will go up against his beloved South Sydney for the first time when his Broncos take on the Rabbitohs at Suncorp Stadium.

The full 2022 NRL draw is expected to be released in coming days.

Panthers vs Sea Eagles, 8.05pm at Bluebet Stadium

Friday, March 11

Raiders vs Sharks, 6pm at GIO Stadium

Broncos vs Rabbitohs, 8.05pm (AEDT) at Suncorp Stadium

Saturday, March 12

Roosters vs Knights, 3pm at SCG

Warriors vs Dragons, 5.30pm (AEST) at Sunshine Coast Stadium

Tigers vs Storm, 7.35pm at CommBank Stadium

Sunday, March 13

Eels vs Titans, 4.05pm at CommBank Stadium

Cowboys vs Bulldogs, 6.15pm (AEDT) at Queensland Country Bank Stadium

The best time to play Melbourne/Roosters/Rabbitohs/Panthers is in the first round. We have lucked out.

I can’t recall anything. You’d think they would be okay to head back by the start of the season.
