Im sure down the track there will be more mergers or relocations.
Sad to see norths go out the way they did and if the ground was ready in the gosford they would have made the criteria as they would have won more games as they couldnt use northsydney oval and crowds suffered that would have pushed them up the criteria ladder.

Yes they were in debt but nothing they wouldnt have traded out of.Nrl criteria forced their hands and manly did the dirty on them in that merger.

I don't know about mergers but I think there will be relocations
There are still too many teams in Sydney I think they need to lose at least 2 teams

Yeah I can't see any more mergers either, Souths and the Sharks possibly to relocate maybe.

The Sharks have played a few times in Adelaide... 'The Great Australian Bite'?!

not at first… they'd jump up and down like brats and scream local team blah blah. But over time, say 5 years, they will fill the stadium every game and adopt them into the community...

Same goes for any team which relocates, it will take time, but it will happen with smart business planning and a strong financial backer... Success on the paddock is a good starting point to sway the locals!!!
