A bad switch from Parker to Farah as captain will cost me my eliminator this week.

Looking at a score of about 750+ for the week to

Me 625 with stagg,campo and harrison to go . Eliminator 649 with thurling,campo and thompson to go ,hope stagg has a blinder.

Someone who is joining Star League next season suggested to me that there should be prize money for whoever wins the 2011 Star League Premiership, but I said I don't think that is a good idea. Then he suggested that whoever wins the 2011 Star League Premiership should win a little trophy. I laughed but he was fair dinkum. What do you folks think?

P.S. I think Team Schmoo will beat my Angels tonight unless Stagg or Campese breaks a leg in the 1st minute tonight.

The height is 12 cm and only costs $6.40\. It's got that star so it's perfect for Star League aye hehehe.
I guess the engraving wouldn't cost much aye?

I need Campese to score more than Hannant and Yileen Gordon together - so a league win is unlikely for me this week.

For a League win I need Hannant to score less than Stagg.

For an eliminator win I need Campese & Butriss to go down injured

Alien definately liking the trophy idea.

Which idea do you like better:

1\. A new Star League trophy every year and whoever wins the Grand Final gets to keep the trophy which would have engraved "Star League Premiers 2011" (or whatever year it is).

or

2.Just have the one trophy and have engraved "Star League Premiership", but if the defending premiers fail to win it the next year they have to give the trophy back and the team that wins it that year gets the trophy.

I'm leaning towards number 2.

Alien's Angels, the defending premiers, fall to third place on the Star League ladder. The victory comes bitter sweet to Team Schmoo as they were the team that was eliminated by the Angels in last years Star League Finals Series in the Grand Final Qualifier Match.
