Alien's Angels have won their second trial match against the Meadowbank Maggots. The Angels started off slowly but had too much energy for Meadowbank towards the end of the game. The Angels look forward to their next and last trial match on the weekend. Round 1 starts the weekend after.

A poor showing for Team Schmoo only managing to scrape together 534 for the round.
Mateo just sucked this week. Nate Myles was less than impressive after his great first round game.
Jason Ryles scored 10\. Not good enough big fella. And instead of a nice chunky score from Fulton i received a measly 4 points. I suppose just about every player was in the same boat with that one.
Too many possible trades to do this week. Picking only 2 is gonna do my head in.

atrocious effort, jeez i would have been happy with 534, i ended up with 497.
Big losers for me were trading out Darius Boyd for Corey Norman. Cooper Vuna, Sam Perrett, Cory Paterson, Luke MacDougall, Timana Tahu and Fulton's sub (Luke Covell) all scored terribly. While I had Boyd, Jennings and Mark Flanagan on the sidelines who all scored well (despite all failing miserably in round 1). My top scorer was Jamie Soward with 110 captains points. Sam Burgess got 41, Luke Douglas 37 and Farah, Lewis Brown and Matt Hilder all with 36.
This week so far I've substituted Norman back out for Boyd, Vuna for Jennings and traded Covell out for Joseph Tomane, brough Tomane into the side in place of Luke MacDougall. I also traded out Jared Waerea-Hargreaves and brought Andrew Fifita into the team (with an upside of 44000, meaning next week I get a killer trade).
So unless something happens this week (ie non selection of Andrew Fifita) my lineup will be;
