First time Kayo viewer this season and one thing I’ve noticed about Cronk and his commentary - he always waxes lyrical about the Roosters and his time with them, but rarely mentions or praises Melbourne, rarely talks about his time with them, though he did make the odd reference to Bellamy’s coaching.

You’d swear he spent the majority of his career at the chooks and only a token year at Melbourne, it’s really odd. By all accounts he’s a former Rooster through and through. I guess those brown paper bags from Uncle Nick can change your whole perception about loyalty and where you achieved your major success.

Back 5 of Roosters so big and strong. Teddy, Marky, Tupou, Toia, and Billy Smith. Unstoppable in the air and hard to get past.
Compared to the back 5 we fielded for a lot of the season - say no more!

To their great backs, add Nefahu Whyte and Collins, Radley their edge players - all played very strongly. It’s a different level of strength, power and fitness.
Question is can the Panthers match them?
I can’t see the Knights getting up.

A big thankyou to the media for pumping up the tyres of the Dolphins in last night's mismatch.
The Roosters are fielding an Origin strength team and somehow were the outsiders. You'll never go broke ignoring jersey colours and betting on the best players.

Since round 24 the roosters have had 4 games under Gee for 1 loss ( they had their reserve grade side in)
The other 3 games under various refs they have lost.
Gee lets the game flow and ignores ‘line speed’ (offside)

Now they get a 9 day turnaround to the GF whilst Penrith who haven’t lost a game in the semis only gets 7 days

Who will be the GF ref —- GEE of course
