Regarding an All Sydney Conference and a Non Sydney Conference, I'm not a fan.
I don't think it's fair on the Non Sydney Teams as they would have a lot of travel, week after week, with exceptions to Brisbane V Gold Coast games, and could eventually take their toll on this Conference as teams are travelling to Perth, Melbourne and Auckland. Compare this to an All Sydney Conference where the most travel is to the likes of Newcastle and Canberra at the worst.
Also, if these two conferences resulted in a large devide in the quality of conferences, you could see a very predictable and boring finals series as the more talented conferences teams walks all over the others come grand final.
For me, there are too many flaws in this 2 conferences idea. I understand that this is a large possibility as the NRL grows, but I'm yet to be convinced that this particular system is best for the NRL.
