NRL finals - Week 1 (spoilers)

Crowd 24,588

Richmond V Hawthorn 91,446
Melbourne v Geelong 91,767
Sydney V GWS 40,350
Eagles v Collingwood 85,000 expected

And there is no where near 24,000 at SFS

League crowds are poor in general. I prefer to watch the game live but know plenty of people who will just watch in TV.
League transfers much better to TV as the play is confined to a small area. So much happens off the ball in AFL it is a much better game to watch live.
Having said that the NRL need to do something to address the issue and get people to the game.

I so very much enjoy this time of the season

Especially games like this. Can’t support the rorters in any fashion. Can’t stand Fatfita. Gallen, Dugan, Moylan so can’t get excited about sharks.

Only team I really wanted to see go well got bundled out earlier today.

Now I’ve got to hope for a Dragons miracle to beat the worlds most overrated (and assisted) team tomorrow!

Maybe if there was more than one game to watch …........

Hah!
We always have to ''cheer'' for someone else, as we are never playing
It really hurts this time of year, year after bloody year
But yeah…we improved this year...what a joke

Yeah, I’ve got mates and family who support roosters and rabbits and I can’t help but feel envious, jealous and just a little pissed off. Good mate just texted me analysing the roosters win - just can’t bring myself to respond and share in his joy! Sick of it to be honest

We would’ve put up a better fight than the warriors I reckon !
But yeah …we need to get there ..
:brick:

Also - was watching Latrell Mitchell tonight. His growth this year has been exceptional. Why can’t our hopefuls improve like that??
