Canberra has a great set of fans and an awesome playing group. Love how they interact, love the Viking clap and love how they play. I wish we were more like them when we played

They went through some very lean and mediocre years just like we are going through, so maybe there is some hope for us yet! Their foray into the ESL to pick up decent players when they couldn’t attract any good ones here was a masterstroke by Stuart and something I wish we would do also. However, Madge seems reticent to look over there for some reason, despite spending years coaching in the ESL and winning a Premiership there as well.

I really thought we would have a crack at some good Pommie players, since we also have trouble attracting star players and seeing the success of Gareth Ellis for us and what Hodgson, Whitehead, Bateman & Williams have brought to Canberra.

So many great performances from players on both teams. Cordner Teddy Crighton were great and NCK Papali Wighton Williams - great game of footy.

Cordner was crap ...he needs to give it away ..
The attempted tackle on Tapine was a laugh

I wouldn’t say he was crap but yeah I thought he was quiet

Ran more metres than any other roosters forward. He was definitely not quiet he took all their tough carries most to good effect, his issue was defence had one or two poor misses that cost the team but he’s a great player, every coach loves a boyd Cordner in their team

Agree - ran straight when others were going sideways. Made great metres.

Fatigue a massive factor in the current game. Players who go the 80 will miss tackles especially when up against the Papali's and Tapine's.

Lol surely you guys are kidding.

Teddy is the best is close to if not the best player in the game whos form has been unreal for a long time.

Paps has been great, but he needs to keep that form for a while yet.

Papenhuyzen imo has always been the better of the two. I am hoping with the Roosters gone, Papenhuyzen will be able to showcase his talents.

I think if Papenhuyzen improves maybe another 75% - he might be in a position to lace up Teddy's boots.

Also missed Papali when he scored and a number of other tackles during the game been a very long season for him.

I thought for long periods Tedesco carried the Roosters tonight ....Flanagan went MIA and Keary wasn't himself until late
