The Storm are a great football side and I for one am looking forward to watching them play another great footy team tomorrow.

I am on the Storm because after the scandal, they regrouped and won the minor premiership. This year they have made the GF.

Dogs were handed the Minor premiership on the back of a vid ref stuff up.

All of them played their guts out , **and you will find that none would of known they where cheating the cap** , would be a pretty risky thing to do telling players that the club was cheating the salary cap

One thing though , if we were going in cycles and the bulldogs won the comp , which club won after the Dogs did

You don't reckon Smith and his rorting cohorts would have suspected something suspicious when they were signing 2 different contracts that were hundreds of thousands of dollars different????? The supposed "free" boats and all of that other crap???
More than a few of the Storm players and officials knew exactly what was going on…didn't the auditors find these other shonky contracts in a back room somewhere? Separate from all of the other contracts??

"Following claims by a whistleblower that the club was keeping a second set of books, the NRL conducted an investigation in late 2009 and early 2010\. **After initially denying the claims, Storm officials confessed** on 22nd April 2010 that the club had committed serious and systematic breaches of the salary cap for the last 5 years by running a well-organized dual contract and bookkeeping system which left the NRL ignorant of $3.78 million in payments made to players outside of the salary cap, including $303,000 in 2006, $459,000 in 2007, $957,000 in 2008, $1.021 million in 2009 and $1.04 million in 2010.

On 23rd April 2010 the NRL seized a secret dossier **hidden** in the home of acting Chief Executive Matt Hanson.The dossier contained Letters Of Offer to three of the Storm's star players (**Cameron Smith, Billy Slater** and Greg Inglis) and another unnamed player guaranteeing illegal payments in the form of goods from third parties. For one player with a $400,000 contract lodged with the NRL , the Letter Of Offer was valued at $950,000 and contained a $20,000 gift voucher for a national retailer and a $30,000 boat. Other offers included a new car for a player's partner and $30,000 in home renovations. The offers together amounted to $700,000 of which the four players had already received $400,000."

Because they have AT LEAST TWO players in this years team that are proven lying, deceitful cheats who should have been kicked out of the NRL.

I look at Salary Cap breaches as being caught with your hand in the cookie jar… All clubs manipulate and rort the Cap where possible, most probably even the Tigers. It's been going on for years!

As I stated earlier, the Players who went out on the paddock and busted their guts, will never lose pride in winning those Grand Finals.

I live in dogs territory and a week of flag waving, car decorating, horns blasting, burn outs and bandwagoners every where, thank god for the storm coming. Only problem now is if the dogs lose we have to stay indoors for 7 days.
