I had to laugh at rothfield's logic for retaining particular clubs.
Parra and Penrith had to stay because they represent Western Sydney.
Dragons because of "the great brand"
Sharks, AKA systemic peptide cheats, stay because they own their home ground.
Bunnies stay because of the backlash when they tried to kick them out before. ( Wests Magpies say hi from the 90's )
Roosters because they are a strong club.
Melbourne must stay. The only reason I can think of is to debunk the myth that cheats never prosper.
I simply can't wait till next year when we are hopefully performing better and some other poor team gets to wear the brunt of this fool's moronic fabrications.

Not going to happen. Just the DT bashing WT as usual. Totally unfounded.
The NRL do not have the power to force WT to relocate or to merge. Financially WT are in great shape and are one of the very few clubs that are likely to make a profit in 2018.

This is just a riduculous argument, there just over 400,000 people in Canberra and Newcastle, and 600,000 in Gold Coast and in North Queensland there is even less. In Sydney we have around 5,000,000 and the fastest growing city in Australia, and the Tigers have the close to the biggest area in Sydney. So who in there right mind would want to disenchant this region into following another sport.

The DT has one hell of a axe to grind with our club, it goes way back to the Sheens days when he basically black listed any interviews with them. Anyway fingers crossed Cleary really gets a competitive side firing next year and than see all the poison pen merchants trying to jump on the bus.
Really the best thing people can do is stop buying and reading their rag, like most media outlets these days they are only just hanging in there

truth is Wests tigers are still averaging more supporters and more members even though down the ladder for the past few seasons than the Sharks who are reigning Premiers.
Point in case 2 home games at Sharks home ground have attracted 7000 & 8000\. with one a GF replay against the Storm.
He picks a game at Campbelltown Stadium with sides 14 & 16 on a friday night 2 nights after Origin to try and push his agenda.
Also he says Manly most hated side in Sydney
