Rly enjoyed Nick Yarris on Joe Rogan podcast.
Has a Netflix doco about his life.
About a man wrongly convicted of a crime and sentanced to life.

Will need to find that one.

Listened to his Elon Musk and latest Neil deGrasse Tyson ones recently. They are two very clever dudes.

Rly enjoyed the nick yarris one but something definitely off about that dude.

Try and watch all of em of interest.
Super educational stuff hey

Listened to John Witherspoon and his son today along with Kevin Smith, Edward Snowden and the latest Bill Burr one. Jeez JD does a great impression of his old man. So sad that Pops kicked off.

How hasn’t anyone mentioned The West’s Tigers Podcast. Get around it.

Rugby Leauge related I’m a fan of Full Credit To The Boys. Added bonus of suffering west’s fans to commiseratewith.

Used to dig TWIL but they had that new co host come on and the guy babbles on about himself far too much and makes it unlistenable. The quality/quantity of Leauge talk has really dropped off. Didn’t bother with it this season.

Non RL, Hardcore History is fantastic. Can’t recommend high enough.

If you like Graeme Handcock / Randal Carlson theories on JRE you maybe interested in Earth Ancients which is also a good listen...most eps.

WTP has it's own thread which is probably why no one has mentioned it as we're all probably aware of it.

My current favourites are:
- Mindscape (A quantum physics podcast with Sean Carroll)
- HBR Presents After Hours (An easy to digest business podcast that covers a lot of differnt topics and companies)

The one about Theranos/Elizabeth Holmes is a good one too. It's called "The Dropout". Catastrophic corporate governance failures make for intriguing stories after the fact.

Wow. Very interesting thank you. Just reminds us all how wrestling has ruined beautiful open expanisve rugby league pre 2005/2006.

The game just isn't the same anymore.

Big fan of what Kemp has done off the field after a lackluster (still respectable of course) rugby league career. Anyway, often I watch a podcast of his and don't have a place here to discuss it, thought this could be a good place for them, there's some really good insights.

Recently watched a couple, one with Brandon "Hectic Cheese" Smith and the other with Latrell, and heard some interesting stuff.

**Brandon Smith** - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m0ogAnZ5gtY

Really interesting comments about the Storm culture. Of special note is Will Chambers driving standards, even things like leaving gear lying around, all on the basis of respecting the jersey. A senior playing ground, respecting the club and the players coming before it and keeping a very high standard. Of course this is no surprise, but it led me to reflecting on our Tigers; and to put it maybe a little harshly, our sad excuse of senior players in the past.

**Latrell Mitchell** - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8DwsOxdsmpg&ab_channel=BlokeInABar

Talks about the Tigers offer at 1:12:50 onward. No surprises that it was the playing group of Souths vs Tigers that saw him take the South deal, but also - and this is something I have always felt about LM - throughout the interview he just seems like a player who is happy to go off his natural abilities, but doesn't push beyond that. He mentions he didn't want the pressure of being that marquee signing on big $$ here at the Tigers.

Seems like a great kid though, far from what the media portray him as.

I listen to it every now and again, but not regularly. It's ok.

The best rugby league podcast is Full Credit to the Boys imo. Its the only non-business podcast I listen to as soon as its released.

Please do share some links of any with interesting insights, doesn't need to be Bloke in a bar.

There's some real hidden gems amongst this saturated market of podcasts.

Any thoughts on V"LANDYS suburban grounds makeover and moving SOO elswhere if not fortcoming?

Belmore, Leichhardt and Campbelltown for starters

Our very own Nofa: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pBANscJGNZQ

Talks about his Origin snub, puts it down to not being part of a top team on the ladder - not saying at all that he expected to be in the starting team, but at least in the squad, and fair enough too. Also goes over, briefly, the egg shells stuff and interestingly talks about not knowing he was getting the Dally M winger of the year.
