LM is NOT a fullback, no matter how much his mates in the media try push his agenda. He's a good player and that's why he can do something good in attack from the back once every while, but that's not enough.

I don't think it's Benji itself but it's the job that he's got. They've got Reynolds on one side and Walker on the other. Him coming at first receiver splits the defence. But he is straightening the line quite well to suck in the outside defenders. All 3 tries had Benji at first receiver.

Bennett has told Marshall to pass to Reynolds or Walker which stops him from throwing those ridiculous 3rd teir of the grandstand passes

He has to play more conservative and is really just the link man now
He draws the attention of the defence creating room for Reynolds and Walker
But sooner or later will go himself and try to be the hero

Both teams will definitely be up there late in the season. Always a hard matchup for Souths but they showed they have a heap of firepower

As many have noted here there is a question mark over the quality of the Souths forward pack. They were dominated in the first 20 and it was too far back from there. Now Burgess out for a period.

It's a good pack, they just weren't in it to start. Once they woke up they held their own against Melbourne. They were shell shocked by the pace of storm out of the gates I reckon
