You have a valid point,but dont forget Madge hasnt had this team for 3 years,DL,JTJ,BJ,JoeO,KenM,JT are all here this year,except BJ and then we have purchased a heap of youth and bought youth into the NRL squad this year,,,Blore injured,AJ injured,Walters was injured,Stefano was injured,Musgrove injured and you and others expect to make finals or win games with a makeshift team when injuries hit,how about Mbye and Brooks played great together,Mbye injured and how did Brooks play,Mbye comes back and plays poorly,maybe he was rushed back because of lack of quality in the depth...
Theres more to just sacking the coach when he doesnt have a lot to choose from....
But you can sack him if you want I will wait until the club makes a call until then I will support him as he is the clubs coach....

At least we got better during the game. Titans are going down the drain.

It all starts in the ruck.
The team that controls it wins the game.
You’ve seen we can score points in good ball position. Heck even the Bulldogs can attack this year.
But the difference is the defence.
The key is to put the player on his back in each tackle the team that does this better out of the two sides is the one that controls the momentum the best.
I started watching from halftime 24-8 down and those first set of 6 from each team tells you everything you need to know the end result.
Manly had every Titans player on their back. No quick play the balls, good line speed etc. The Titans didn’t put one manly player on their backs and hence this is where they are at.
No different to us.

Not from me you don't hear that, Talau needs to be dropped, obviously a Madge favourite as he has never been dropped. Liddle can't play 80 and is getting worse, needs to be dropped or get a second hooker on the bench, Lucy can't play 80 needs a rest during games, Mbye needs moving on.
We have a squad of players that should be higher up the ladder than they are, and should be performing far better than they are, they are not world beaters, but they are poorly coached and managed, and that is all on Madge

It is not good for football.The current rules (10 metres- 6 again-and head contact rules) allows referees interpretations to allow domination of the ball by one side for lengthy periods of time.This was why unlimited tackle football got the flick back in the 60s,the easiest way to fix the problem is to change it back to a 5 metre rule which will at least allow the defensive team to not use as much juice in defence thereby reducing the fatigue factor.
It is not an ideal solution but would at least restore some credibility into what should be a contest imo

Yes we have a side capable of being in the 8, have a look at teams 7 and 8, if we had a decent coach we would be in the 8 now, we have lost to some ordinary teams, and beaten no one of note. Our wins have been against severely depleted teams.
Any coach could have got the team inspired for the 2 Tommy tribute games on home turf, any coach bar Madge that is, how hard would it have been, Hobbo could have done a better job, those 4 points alone puts us in the picture

They need a game plan and someone to carry it out, if they don't believe in it, which they currently don't, there is an issue, Madge has made the team worse, his mantra to fix the defence is laughable, he has failed and should be punted, just like you and I if we performed like that our jobs

I said this on here years back. I'm totally with you. The crazy notion that a faster game is better is just ridiculous. Fatigue can take effect with a closer fought game. Bring back a contest for God sake. The halves will have their way later in the game.Some of the best games ever were low scoring affairs - nobody complained.

I said this on here years back. I'm totally with you. The crazy notion that a faster game is better is just ridiculous. Fatigue can take effect with a closer fought game. Bring back a contest for God sake. The halves will have their way later in the game.Some of the best games ever were low scoring affairs - nobody complained.

should have just dropped the interchange, body shapes would have changed, fatigue and interchange tactics would have come back into it.

To be honest I'd accept try scorer kicks off at this stage. These massive tranches of possession and scoring are frankly tiresome and embarrassing.
