I'd just like to thank Mitchell Moses for providing those moments of joy in what has otherwise been a dark season. I keep thinking, surely karma doesn't last this long and he'll get this one. The Eels are probably the only team I'd rather see lose than the Panthers (I know, they're both heaps better than us). When you're at the bottom these moments feel like victories.

The one where Hayne kicked the field goal at Campbelltown... Moses missed a sideline conversion to go ahead, then a field goal, then a penalty goal and Hayne kicked the field goal.

Just watched the replay of Moses kick. Just before he kicks it, Ginane says, “it’s a big moment of in the career of this young man”, clearly getting ready to get down on his knees and shower Mitchy with some man love. Only for Mitchy to choke and prove he can’t win big games...Again

Both Freddy and Joey have their favourites and dribble over them regularly. Joey even takes it to the next level at times and comments on how good some of the players look in the sheds. They are both pretty inappropriate at times and still can't believe Joey in particular even has a media career. I'm sure he'd be a great consultant (and could still get his perv fix) but should not be promoting the game.

Ray Warren has served the game well. But Voss is a far better commentator and play by play analyst. Ray has become an old waffler who thinks his audience knows or cares who Ray Price is or was.

Agree, Ray is past it BUT maybe a good portion of the audience knows of and cares about Ray Price - you can't have it all your own way. That wouldn't be so Flash.

You can understand nuff nuffs on here not recognizing how good Hynes is, but how does our recruitment team not make a play for him when he was still going cheap early in the season?

The naysayers were all over here saying he's slow and whatnot.

I got howled down for suggesting Hynes. "Wouldn't be any good out of the Storm system, we have a FB for the next 10 years etc. etc."


You do realise he is not out of the Storm system yet dont you?

Yes Mate, funnily enough I do realise that.

However I am quite happy to go on record - He will be just as good out of the Storm system, because he sets movements up and assists in tries when there are no tries in the offering. That is as opposed to someone who relies on someone else to make him look good.

I'm glad he is good at kicking goals - I could see that by how he won the game on full time.

I'd say the only thing he is good at, is swinging his arms, tanking, running across field, not tackling, crying and sooking.

I think that if you take a number of our players to "well established teams" they would look like the world beaters! This was shown even with our own structures - on occasions. The issue that follows us for years is consistency.


Any examples? Teddy was already a world beater when he left.

Momorovski and Eisenhuth were going to show us how players flourish once they get out of the constriction of our "structures". Jessie Sue?

He’s an immature child. Only a front runner. Will never win anything from behind, he doesn’t have the maturity needed.

The one thing he does consistently well is his kicking game. It's not enough to make him a great player though, that's for sure. And even if it was he'd still stink, acting so entitled all the time. A real turn off!

A big congratulations to Corey Thompson on his 100 game milestone today. His size probably should of dictated that he would have never made it to NRL level but his guts and determination got him there regardless. Loved it when he played for us, a wholehearted performer every single week. Letting him go was a huge mistake.

If Moses was selected for SOO game 3 like some are suggesting, I think I’d rather he completely screws it up, over NSW getting a whitewash.

The ideal outcome is for Qld to take a hefty lead due to his poor play. Only for NSW to come from behind after Moses has been hooked for Wighton
