Gee that concussion rule stopping play is so dodgy. Reynolds was concussed three plays earlier, but Manly get a roll on, so then trainer calls for play to be stopped and Reynolds coming off.

Reynolds should have have come off earlier, they stopped play twice for the one Reynolds concussion.

Yeah pretty dodgey. On a side note glad we didn’t get this Saab dude. Looks pretty average to me.

He was clocked at 37 k's an hour last week... he's fast once he gets into open space. Problem is he's not strong enough to bust tackles and manly suck too much to get him any good ball

Must haven’t of used traction control in the wet ..

He's quick at 37k's, must be the Saab Turbo model and that wasn't a traction control or treadmill issue, he was just on the dyno at the time.

People are forgetting who we traded Momers for.... we needed a fullback wayyyyy more than we needed a centre and Laurie is a gun


JC, I agree that the swap was good for us and I think Laurie is probably our best get, I just can’t cop the constant bagging of Momo. We would have been better off if we could have kept him.

Who’s bagging him ? All I’ve read is guys saying he wasn’t that great in response to people saying we shouldn’t have traded him . From there I just took it as guys saying mean stuff to better establish thier position . It’s no different from the Brooks arguements , the Garner arguements and so on .


Come on Strongee, there’s blokes in here calling him a plodder, he falls over the line etc. The commentators today called him a try scoring machine. When was the last time we had one of those, apart from Momo? Brooks and Garner on the other hand...

I don’t think he’s a plodder , but I do think he was our 4th best centre . I wish we had him to play wing , as as you said he can sniff out a try , but yea . I think with our lack of attacking options , or at the very least attacking synchronicity, we need more dynamic players . Like the Jet flick pass last week . And Momo wouldn’t have offered that . I think he’s in the right team , and the Shane Elford comparison a few of us made a while ago , couldn’t be more apt .
