Was anyone else offered to Penrith eg. Mbye, Garner, AJ, Talau?

Who says Penrith would've taken any of them? They didn't exactly need a winger, a second rower or Mbye. They needed a centre

Pretty sure Talau and Mbye have both played centre. Regardless you managed to miss the point. You don't trade quality.

Talau looks like he will go into the forwards, and Mbye is on ridiculous coin no way they would've taken him when they needed to free up cash

You missed the point, if you can upgrade your team you do and a fullback is 100 times more important than a centre, especially when we have a multitude of centres at the club and literally 0 before Laurie came.

The commentators today called him a try scoring machine. When was the last time we had one of those, apart from Momo?

Last year with Nofo seems the obvious answer.

Giving Momo names like 'plodder' or 'try scoring machine' are equalled misconceived. He's a consistent, solid first grade centre/winger. He's (probably) not going to win you a lot of games and he's unlikely to lose you many. He also seems like a decent man who's well liked by his team-mates.

I'd prefer we'd kept him but the lack of a fullback was a more pressing issue. I'm pleased he's going well and hope him success in the future - I'm just disappointed it's with Penrith.

Reynolds should have have come off earlier, they stopped play twice for the one Reynolds concussion.

He was clocked at 37 k's an hour last week... he's fast once he gets into open space. Problem is he's not strong enough to bust tackles and manly suck too much to get him any good ball
