Wouldn't mind seeing a slight change to the 6 again rule ....if you get the 6 again in your own 20 you have the choice of taking the 6 again or a penalty ....

Can't do that. There is a penalty count, but the 6 again is largely invisible. Gives a chance to carry a side out of their own end, extend attacking opportunities or bring a side back into the game.

I am not sure what I am watching tonight but it looks like some bizarre league/touch football hybrid. PVL's rule changes have not brought any benefit to the game.

Eels only in it because Gutho has saved 4 tries. Melbourne play at a crazy pace, they've looked clunky tonight and have still managed to look better than eels who are a top 8 team

I dunno, I wouldn’t mind some of their go forward. They are a good team, especially compared to us.

Average 1-7 barring one or two

But their forward pack is probably top 4 material

The issue is their starting centres are out in Waqa and M Jennings. It's a killer backline with them 2 in it.

Yep I’d love to have that forward pack, minus Matterson of course lol. Gutherson, Sivo & Ferguson are class at the back also. Gutherson is as much a loss for Manly as Papenhyuzen is for us - you will never hear the commentators say that though.

I’m struggling to think of any of our forwards that would crack their starting team. Luciano for Lane that’s about it. Scary thought
