Protected species. Hope he cops it. This guy is meant to be a model for kids and continuously pushes the boundaries and shows no remorse.

The Cam Munster’s of the world (and most hotheads) at least show remorse and admit they fall short in these areas, albeit after the fact, but this guy has little problem with his behaviour and shows little respect to fellow players.

The audacity to come back on and to carry on too is so immature, if I were out there for the roosters I would’ve gone full Lachie Lewis on the grub. May as well, there season is done

The NRL has to take action against Perenara and as soon as they do it's clear Robinson was correct. Klein will get demoted as well if they have enough Refs in the bubble.

I'm still staggered he didn't get sent off - it was a high, late, forceful shoulder charge which looked completely deliberate. The dictionary definition of a dog shot and EXACTLY what the game is trying to stamp out.

Joe Manu is an absolute talent...worked hard tonight to help try and get the young guys into the game....finals around the corner and he spends the night in hospital and his season is finished...

Latrine at his best.....glad we didnt get him for all the good games he plays and the skill he has,he has to dog shot a player in a weak gutted way and thats what he will be known for....

I would hope that "indigenous" would have zero impact on the suspension this piece of crap deserves.He is a disgrace to the true indigenous champions who have played the game,men like Corowa Campbell Beetson Renouf just to name a few.Mitchell is purely a thug and a bully.
His suspension should continue for at least 4 games into next season

Not a chance. He will NOT play again this year and into next year. It’s not in the nrl’s interest to go soft on him anymore and they know it.

He's copped a lot of racism on social media and spoke up about it.

Racism is better off left in the garbage bin.

Honestly though, it does make you second guess yourself when commenting on him as a player because you don't want to be accused of such vile stuff but him and Cody Walker are disgraceful players. Nothing to do with race but how they conduct themselves on field.

The penalty wasn’t blown straight away. Klein let the whole set play out. A good minute went by. Granted Manu was down initially, but he wasn’t down the whole time. It was only when he stopped play that Manu went and got in LM’s face.
