There's a very good argument for Morris being the best winger of all time. Obviously there's some greats of the past but he has no weaknesses and has been doing it his entire career, now aged 34 which is insane for a winger.

Pretty average game, poor Newcastle lost almost their whole spine.... cost me my perfect round!

Hasn’t been a good game all weekend. V’Landys ball has made the game too one sided and less entertaining IMO.

Yeh games are only mildly interesting when by some coincidence the scores are close.

On another note if Brooks needs a game management specialist coach we need another referee on the books. They, and the class divide between some teams, are pretty much dictating results. NRL was always good for a major upset or 2 every week but it is turning into aerial ping pong with teams pushing out to $7!

There were odds of $8 and $10 going around this round.

Not much of a gambler but I don't recall seeing such high odds in previous seasons and rank outsiders were usually only $3 to $4 in the past.

Game is getting too fast and it's widening the gap between the haves and the have nots.

Two pretty evenly matched teams. I enjoyed it. Not sure we can match Parra, we seem a bit scared of them.

Nah IMO. Everybody was capable of tackling in days gone by, these days tackling is optional.

I reckon defences are better than ever.... that's why it's all the more impressive what he's doing. He's up against 100kg physical freaks on the wing

Lots of hype on Sam Walker but the kid was very impressive. Played very smart and looked mature behind his years out there leading the team around and popping up where need be. Classy performance

Defences are better than ever? Don't tell anyone but have you seen our right edge defence the last 3 or 4 years? Inglis, Tedesco.....considered greats of the game but couldn't tackle to save themselves.
Langlands, Jack....back in the day when fullbacks could cover-defend. Nowadays fb's are just witches hats: that was why the RTS tackle last weekend was front page news.
BMOZ would've been bashed out of the sport by Peter Dimond.
