On the bright side Tommy probably would've been happy to see the Coast win. He wasn't a supporter of the joint venture and because he lived on the Coast he was close with the playing group.

I can't be bothered going through the thread but there was at least 2 people.It is possible they didn't mean what they said or have since changed their minds.That does happen in regards to players as form fluctuates

He gives his all
And he tries
But his best is just not good enough for our team
Yes if we had a Papenhyzen at fullback and Harry Grant at Hooker and Cheese at lock then Brooks would look better in the team
But we don't have those players
He is our longest serving player and our club has put alot of faith in him
Hi defence is great
Hi attack not so
He of all players in our team must play with more consistency
Pin point kicks
Slick passing game
Spotting the times he needs to run himself
Taking the ball right to the line
Directing his troops
He was given the keys to drive the team around the park
But he has no control of the car he is driving
It may be hard on him but I honestly think he needs a break from 1st grade to get some confidence back
And let Doueihi captain and direct the team around the park
I even think bringing Laurie into the halves with
Douiehi could work quite well
They are both decent play makers and it will put Laurie closer to the action
So that leaves us to find a fullback within

I dispute that defence wins matches under the new rules and no coaches defensive structures are effective. More blow out scores to come when teams are not a match for their opposition I.e. against Penrith and Penrith.
