Special thanks to the West Tigers for peeing on the memory of a rugby league legend twice

Someone needs to get sacked ...useless pack of mongs

They really couldn't give a stuff... Why should we?

Because we have respect I guess Ink

I re -watched that game on NRL and apart from the first 20mins of that match I thought we were pretty decent, so if they can just fix those silly errors/mistakes we could win a lot of those matches. In the 2nd half I thought we looked pretty good, especially the last 30mins Perhaps we shouldn't give up yet

Yeah ..but that could be our calling card .....if only we could play/ mentally focus for 80 minutes ......probably like most Wests fans ...I'm absolutely seething that we desecrated Tommy's memory ......again

Maybe we should have the reggies to play for Tommy's memory ......they seem to give a crap

I dispute that defence wins matches under the new rules and no coaches defensive structures are effective. More blow out scores to come when teams are not a match for their opposition I.e. against Penrith and Penrith.

Attack will win you games
Defence will win you titles

Extremely prophetic quote, where did you steal it from?

Sir Alex Ferguson ?

Downvotes really get to some posters. I don't get it.

Poor crowds this weekend. 5 games under 10k and a couple only 6k.
I can see rationalisation around the corner.

It is a concern and the downward trend was happening prior to Covid.

Big concern, just realised one game was Wagga though. Thursday is a poor timeslot but 7k is horrendous for Souths Melbourne.

One sided matches due to the rules interpretations will only reduce the crowds even more.People go to games to watch their team compete not be caned by the referee.Only 6 teams with a positive differential in a 16 team comp.Making the game quicker is only widening the gap

I'd be more worried about the Tigers' game.
The game was promoted as the Tommy memorial night for weeks. The team was coming off a win. Campbelltown only gets a few games a year. It was a family friendly timeslot, and yet the crowd was very very poor.
It seems Wests has lost the support of the South West.

I just wonder if that's part of the plan. VLandy said a few weeks ago that he wouldn't be changing rules to help the mediocre. He might have a superleague on the agenda and it would be easier if teams die off rather than trying to kill teams.

Yep, the west is lost.

Fixing the game is easy.
The 10m rule makes the game boring. It's too easy to move the ball down the field with one out runs followed by a kick.
There's no need for teams to play football to get field position. It makes the game too predictable.
Go back to the 5m rule. Players will have to become footballers again.

Just move the Sydney imbalance me thinks ...and we are really in the firing line

Win or die
