NRL Rookie

Liked the show but one of the episodes a guy got absolutely smashed across the chops and got straight back up with blood coming from the back of his head, with the coaches on the sidelines praising his guts, not questioning his heart but a NRL club would tell him to stay down and milk the penalty.

Cameras only picked up our votes while clubs started the voting system.

It had us at

Goodwin 3
Hyde 2
Martin 1

Exactly my thought as well

To be honest if I was on the show I would go to Newcastle just to have more of a chance to play first grade..

Where would you guys go??

Depending on position wise

I think Lou will win and go back to the roosters.

Why would he want to come to us when he can pick any other team!

Watched Lou Goodwin play lock plenty of times for Roosters 20's him and Dane Atkinson where massive loses for the same reason, both would have made NRL and were mixing it with Ethan Lowe, Boyd Cordner and Napa, both well ahead of current 1st Graders who have stuck at it, several of which are in the Tigers FG.

I'd want to go to Storm, get coached and play with the best.

You can tell the Tigers want Lou.

After being announced the winner the Tigers looked really happy!

Sucks we didn't sign him.. No way he should go to Canberra.. Players like Shaun Fensom and Paul Vaughn played reserve grade this year

Loved the Grand Final and thought it was a top show, although where I am thouroughly disapointed is that I was watching the Tigers guys very closely and found that they looked very excited when they announced the winner was Lou and didn't even give him an offer as we are in desperate need of a back rower and good defender. Definately making the wrong decision by going to the Raiders with tonnes of forwards vying for a first grade spot, but good luck to him.. Loved the show, thought it was a great concept..

I would love to have Lou, i think he has plenty to offer.

Jordan was great until getting injured, not sure about him.

Chris could be alright but you don't want 3 hookers in your top 25.

You don't want three hookers in your top 25? But what happens if one gets a long-term injury, you decide you want to force another out of the club, you decide a third isn't up to it and banish him to reggies, a fourth is too young and can't get past second-tier cap issues, a fill in is 33 and can't play big minutes, another one is basically a prop and can't really play there and another is a winger who doesn't know he has to play dummy half until half-way through the game?

This type of everyday occurrence is exactly the type of contingency any normal, well-run club ought to prepare for by signing five or six additional hookers every year. In fact, if you asked me what the appropriate number of hookers to carry in a top 25 is I'd say around 22.

Only at our club, only on JT"s watch.
