I’m so sick of seeing a team millions over the salary cap dominate every other team and continually get commended for it. The simple truth is the Rorters cheat. When will a commentator call it for what it is. It’s cheating. That’s it! DO SOMETHING TODD YOU PRAWN. Even comp - you’re kidding!

Yes it's taken them a while, but they finally now have the team they have been trying to buy for many years - superstars or rep players in just about every position on the field. They play great, they win and they win well, but it's hard to stand in awe of them and go ooh and ahh at the way they play knowing that they have systematically raped other teams of their talented juniors and elite players, without any scrutiny of their cap whatsoever, over many years.

It's a given that you will eventually have an almost unbeatable team if you have been allowed to operate in this manner for years, whilst other teams have borne the brunt of salary cap investigations year in, year out. Watching them play so brilliantly is quite hollow for me, but I'm sure their supporters are loving it and former cocks like Fittler and Gould can't hide their glee at how *amazing* this club and this team is. Makes me ill that, in all their gushing over them, none of them will actually stop and think to themselves, for just one minute, that this club has blatantly been allowed to cheat its way to the top and been given concessions that many of the other teams will never get.

Good to see the Dragons coming back whist writing this post though ?

Best post I’ve ever read! How I wish one of the million league shows on tv and radio would take this issue on and ask Greenberg why it has been allowed to happen. I agree - no pride in their victories. Just cheats who give nothing back to the game

@Spud_Murphy The exact reason there has to be a draft or some sort of points system. We have been through it a million times but with a points system you can pay players anything, there is no argument for restraint of trade. The insinuation ( i only say this as im too lazy to look for facts) that the Roosters have been in 15 of the last 20 GF should show even the most ardent opponent of such a system the salary cap does not work. They (NRL and its enablers) keep going back to the different premiers, well i couldn't care less if it's the same teams are always up there. If the worst rebuild you have to go through is not being in the top 4 than the system is broken.
I'm not up for any of this we need to be better crap either. Its about money and nothing else. Money is what allows teams to be successful, and we could be there, but Harry just doesn't love us that much, or loves his money a lot more ( don't blame him). Either way, it should not come down to that.
