I'm still confused why penriff got a free interchange - they had no interchanges left and the player going down was not a reportable foul. Why arent these clowns questioning it.

Where oh where was Mitchy when the game was on the line?

Unlike Brooks at least Moses has seen semi final football the closest Brooks has come in the loungeroom on fox sports

Apparently the interchange was from earlier when Niukore got put on report. Didn't know you could bank free interchanges but there you go. Very average refereeing performance though, how Ashley Klein is one of the top two NRL refs is embarrassing.

Great game of footy where defence was the highlight. Prefer a game like that every day of the week compared to high scoring games

What crap referring that game. A non penalty gets Penrith the win. Penrith put an interchange player on when they had none left. Ref fails to give the Eels six again when the Panthers had their hands all over the ball. Typical rubbish officiating.

How good if they lost on an illegal player.... Could such a thing happen?

I remember when Wests lost a point in a drawn game when Lubinskas was usedas an illegal interchnage. Think it cost them a place in the semis. there have also been a few circumstance where tams have lost competition points in the NRL - don't think its ever happened in an elimination game though.

Doesn't make sense. It was Sorrensen that was fouled but he didn't come back on. Mitch Kenny was never fouled that I remember.

Moses played well. Cleary didn't feature anymore. It was a game built on defence. Every player gave it everything.

I love a good defensive game but I thought the attack was extremely poor. There were no line breaks or tackle breaks. Both teams were more focussed on not making mistakes than scoring.
