In regards to the whole Moses/Brooks debate and who the better man is. Even if Moses is the better player, he still sucks and will never lead a team to a title.

The same is said about Brooks.
Maybe they're just the next generation of Jacob Millers or whatever.

Talented but not quite the complete package.

Honestly though, it sucks...
They should both be better than what they are.

Props to Moses for making the 8 at least, something I wish we could do.

There is talk (albeit minor) that Arthur might get punted because he’s failed to get Parra past the second week of the finals. 4 out of 5 years actually when they went out in straight sets in 2017. If we had a coach who got us to week 2, 3 years in a row, we’d re-sign him.

There's something about Brad Arthur....
He doesn't strike me as the most likeable guy.

Parramatta have been in the news this year with callers saying their roster isn't up to scratch and lacks real winners.... compare theirs to ours though, no excuse they shouldn't be in the 8 every year but they're also common chokers...

Personally though, I wouldn't be upset if we placed 9th again. At least. Any sign of improvement is massively needed.

I met a young footy player through work who played against and for Arthur. He implied he was a complete tool until he got in the parra system and was ‘one of the boys’. Didn’t come across as someone you’d want to play for.

Makes so much sense.
Comment reflects what is evident on TV.
Guys a D-bag.

Moses has been fantastic all year. His defence has actually quite impressed me. The issue with Parra has been that Dylan Brown has been awful. There's no smarts about him. He's barely had half a dozen try assists all year.

Gutho is good against the lesser teams but has nothing against the good teams. Wouldn't be surprised if he was carrying an injury this last month. Moses needs to go to second receiver in the opposition 20.. he's their most dangerous player.

You can ALWAYS count the good coaches on one hand, no matter what era you look at, imho.

The first 3 coaches to make prelims this year: Bennett, Haslet, Bellamy

Every year, I think Bennet/Bellamy/Hasler/ Robinson have held a mortgage on 2/4 of the prelim spots. You can finish as high as you want but your team needs to beat their teams at least twice in the finals to win the comp.

That's why I think we would be extremely stupid to not get Bennett here for 2 years. New expansion team won't be happening til 2024 for sure. Bennett has got a couple.of good years in him.

Moses is a slime little dweeb..

The Chin will get his next week.. Storms will make sure he does more than half a dozen tackles..

All true so I don't understand the downvote.

Don't like either team, but jeez I think Parra copped a raw deal last night.

The fact that Klein and Sutton were refereeing finals shows what a joke the NRL is. Unless you bring Perineum back, these two must be the most incompetent clowns running around.

That is very hypocritical by a club and coaching staff that seems to get their players to start rubbing their necks when they are tackled.Hopefully pamfers get their karma next week, last night pawwa got theirs

Reed Mahoney plays ...they win

2nd time in the last month Penrith have had a lopsided penalty count in their favour. 11-2 and now 7-2 against parra. You’d be forgiven for thinking there’s some sort of conspiracy to push Penrith along after their post Origin slump. Historically they aren’t the most disciplined team, they’re somewhere in the middle. But now two big games at the pointy end of the season they only give away one penalty a half. They got the rub of the green but parra had their chances too. As an impartial observer I don’t think the calls alone cost Parra, I’m just saying it’s crazy they have gotten two lopsided penalty counts and the complete rub of the green in recent big matches. Parra should've put their Karen hat on like Souths and campaigned for a fairly adjudicated game. Penrith looked cooked. Last round of the regular season they didn’t rest any players because they thought they were gonna walk all over them and get the week off anyway.
Melbourne about to put 50 on them.

LOL this is being dubbed game of the year. Neither team through anything in attack. Maybe the oldies liked this game as it was definitely tough but neither team really chanced their arm.

I disagree with you , was the most engrossing game I’ve seen this year and was really resfreshing.

Rather this then a tight game with loads of tries , most tries these days are soft.
The hits were brutal and any point put on the board was well deserved

They get away with murder all the time. As i said to my son, theres no disputing the penalties against Parra, what i do dispute is the Panthers supposedly only infringing ( worth a penalty) twice in these games.

One of their blatant fouls is holding defenders back. They constantly peel a defender off and hold them down. They even got warned about it yesterday.. Not sure why that wasn't a penalty straight away.

I am also sick of the attacking team putting numbers in a tackle. If you score a try and the diver touches a defender, it's a penalty straight away. It should be the same during normal play as well.

It's good coaching but still illegal.

I don't know if this has been discussed already but why did the Panthers get a free interchange at the end of the game?

Depends who you ask.
Fox had a very convoluted explanation.
9.simply said it was the wrong card used.
Has there been an official explanation?
I guess Parra officials would been all over it if it was a huge stuff up we'd be hearing more by now?
