NRL tells clubs season must restart by September

If you think Harry T will be our saviour think again. He's only in it for himself. He is a business man and unless he gets something in return he will keep his 1.5 metres away.
He's no Nick Politis, Russell Crowe etc.

The NRL is desperate, not for saving lives, but for making money.

How so..they suspended the competition as soon as the medical advice could not confirm the safety of players....

If it was just about money they would have ignored it and plowed on..

A sceptic may say the suspension tied in conveniently with QLD closing its borders, making the NRL season virtually untenable from that point anyway. So they either used it as an opportunity to drive home their morals on player's health, or there really was new information relating to the outlook of player's safety - increased numbers of infection, as they said. Although these numbers are running along a projection, so surely they'd have known beforehand, without appearing startled at 'breaking news'.
