Roosters sponsors are very happy although the Fox figures can be misleading if more games are also on FTA. The average FTA figures per televised match would be more useful. A few years back we were second most watched after Brisbane.

Will be more NRL data today/tomorrow from the account. Could be the average FTA figures

We get a boost in numbers from people who are addicted to Soap Operas. Need to sign Ridge Forrester as an ambassador.

The AFL finished its year with a total of 111.4 million viewers, the NRL is currently on 110.2 million viewers, needing just 1.252 million to pass for the calendar year. (Note this includes preseason, AFLx, AFLW, NRLW, Origin, Rep Fixtures, H&A matches and Finals to date).

Or maybe it just says WT's fans are happy to watch them from home .....not happy to support them from the Grandstand

Most appropriate figures are fox, as they broadcast each game. Due to different amount of coverage each club gets overall on FTA and also quality of game shown when on , its not entirely reflective of clubs popularity. Good news tigers top 5 in both

Jeez that's an indictment on the Kiwi's. One team for a country of 4 to 5 million people and they are last in the rankings?

Only Aus data. Has no data for NZ itself

Ah OK fair enough then.

@happy_tiger When the club finally wakes up and selects one stadium and stops the relentless approach of dividing the supporter base ,supporters will attend the this is ours and that is yours has to stop !

Helluva lot of people crowded around the 10 black and white TV's in NZ

The Cleary episode dominated the media for months . Like it or not it was great publicity to start the season as viewers were curious as to how we would go after all the drama. We were the Nick Kyrgios of the NRL- people watch despite knowing the results would be all over place. It is called pulling power.Hopefully people will watch us in future when we become like Nadal.

I don’t think the Cleary saga has anything to do with it. We have always rated well, that’s why we get a good share of FTA games despite the fact we’ve been hopeless for most of our 20 year history.

You ever thought about getting into politics?

The Tigers TV numbers and crowds if adjusted for performance would be near the top of the league. Balmain, Wests and the Wests Tigers fan base is huge. The popularity is why so many negative articles are written because there has been little positive in terms of performance.
Once the club turns it around on the field we will be media darlings it’s just how it works.

Why does it say Wests and not Wests Tigers! Just joking.

Good numbers and our stats would be better if we actually made the finals.
