Too early for this but Tedesco is gone replaced by Tom Trbojevic.

Well if Tedesco plays like Origin 1, who would you pick?

Tedesco is a slater-type fullback and Turbo is a ball-playing fullback with a big body.

After Tedesco's origin 1 performance, IMO he should get 1st crack at the #1 jersey.
Trobjevic would be well suited to 14 since he can play anywhere in the backline, and in the forwards (he is bigger than Jake).

1\. Tedesco
14\. Trbojevic

Based on game 1 Fifita was man of the series

Yeah yeah im aware of him, i was being facetious. Might let him cement his first grade spot before throwing him into origin though eh? NSW have good centers at their disposal, they just refuse to use them. Walker and Roberts should have been the centre pairing this series.

No! I thought you were above that

I would not consider Dugan as a lock in. How many mistakes did he make last night? Probably better than Hayne, Ferguson and Morris but therein lies the problem

Slater murdered Tedesco last night. The only comparison which can be made between the two is they both wear the No 1 jersey. Trbojevic should start at No 1 for NSW next year.

Most of the time that Tedesco received kicks, he was confronted with a defence that was up early and straightand didn't have anywhere near the room that Slater was given. Most of Pearce kicks went straight down the throats of Slater and were long kicks, making it almost impossible for chasers to get near him,
Also when it was possible to reach them, the block players were protecting him. Yes , it was illegal to have multiple players coming in from the sides and jamming chasers , but they've got away with it in all three games. Why the hell didn't we do the same thing.
At least it wasn't quite as bad as the perfect tackle on Ferguson by their blockers in a previous game. So much for the Refs claim that they would crack down on illegal blockers in the third game.
Who ever was Qld fullback last night would have had a massive advantage in that game as most of the Blues kicking was terrible , and due to Qlds better defence , was coming from too deep in the the Blues half.
The Blues didn't lose the series last night. They lost it in the second game by being dumb in Sydney. It was simply the icing last night

GCT - are you serious ? Tedesco had plenty of chances. He just wasn't very good. Slater was great. This series has shown the difference between these two players. I thought Tedesco was the best fullback in the game. This season he has been a long way off that level.

Slater is the best I've ever seen and remember he is in his twilight (34?). I compared the two because Tedesco is apparently a million plus a season player. The yard or two drop off in pace, passing and kicking make him a one dimensional player among the big boys. Slater was just outstanding and Tedesco not very good highlighted by dropping a pedestrian bomb which with the Cordner errors just took the wind from the sails of NSW.

Your dead right. Pearce found Slaters chest every time with his kicks.

If you truly believe that dribble then youve been asleep for over a decade.

Slater understands the urgency of getting the ball on the full & bringing it back at speed to begin the set on the front foot, hes a freak at it.
Too many #1's amble around, a hop and a skip there or a jog over to the winger to drop it off…asking for trouble
Its a simple game

1\. Tom Trbojevic
2\. Nick Cotric
3\. Josh Dugan
4\. Jack Bird
5\. Josh Mansour
6\. Matt Moylan
7\. Nathan Cleary
8\. Andrew Fifita
9\. Nathan Peats
10\. Shannon Boyd
11\. Wade Graham
12\. Tyson Frizell
13\. Jake Trbojevic

Paul Vaughan, David Klemmer, Tyronne Peachy, Latrell Mitchell

No idea, it should rightly depend on form shown next year. I imagine Tom Trbojevic will be there and if he keeps up his club form it would be good to see Angus Crichton running an edge too.

I don't believe this. Slater showed in this series that he has the ability to come up with big plays at the right time. His running game at the back wasn't that great. It was his ability to come up with something when Queensland have the ball later in the tackle count.

Personel wise NSW are good. They could use specialist centers, a controlling half and mobile front rowers but seriously that squad was good enough to win the series.
Attitude and application is another story though…

Yeah your right stryker…...mental bruising could be blamed for Wednesday night. But for a game and three quarters NSW were on their way to a series win.
They definitely can turn it around especially if the correct team is picked and a change of coach.
