Maybe he was forced to hold his coaching back?

Absolute disgrace that you are putting the toe into someone who has given their all for the club!

/sarcasm

Wondered if I'd fish u lot in.
Thanks boys!!!
Hardly a club legend!
Fletcher, r u lot on drugs!!
What's he done for the club????? Ever
Funny though.

Time for him to move on, I hope I see Kidwell moving on next

Seeing Farah will be playing reserve grade next season maybe he has said he will need a coach that can coach!

I used to passionately follow the NSW Cup games from the other side of the the Great Divide via on line streaming listening to biased commentators from Hornsby* to Penrith* back in the dAys when I still had a Balmain Tigers side to support.
I'm out in the Bathurst region so obviously it's not an easy task to get to games especially when I have to do the odd bit of weekend work, There were a couple of times when Balmain made the Grand Final, once upon time a dominant Bulldogs crushed us the same day that the Under 20's were robbed of a result V Storm back in the late 000's.
The game that Fletch should have seen the end was nigh was the loss to Newtown, while all the older supporters thought that the Jets win was a great result for the game it wasn't, they shouldn't have won on that day as Fletch was by then past it a a coach at this level.
But still Fletch persisted, well why wouldn't he, he was still getting paid for a mediocre coaching career, I really thought he would have pulled up stumps before now realising that the end was nigh but alas neither he nor the club had the vision to see that the barrell was empty a long time ago.
I don't want to appear as I putting the knife in but I have written for a long time that he should have pulled the pin well before now.

OMG should stay on and claim his payment.

How can the club treat a loyal servant like this?

The issues are with our incompetent board!

Oh wait… Wrong thread?

Word is, Fletcher was told that if he stayed, he would be coaching NSW Cup.

Word is, Robbie doesn't want him as coach next year! Bye bye Mr Fletcher!!

We haven't seen results , this was always on the cards

I'd be happy if they gave the job to Leo if he wanted it

Leaping Leo couldn't get results in RM Cup Happy and didn't coach them last year,
Was only kept around to oversee Nathan Waters in his coaching debut.

Whilst i think they are freeing up the spot for Kimmorley wouldn't it be great if the brought Toddy Payten back home. He will have coached a lot of the players previously and seems to be a coach with a massive future.

The club seems intent on eliminating the club, not bringing them back.

I think Brett Kimmorley will coach NSW cup next season and Mat Head will do the 20s

And if Fletcher has gone, there's nothing formal on the Wests Tigers site.

Professionally, there should have been an acknowledgement of his long-term service to the club and well wishes for his future - just lacks any measure of professionalism or respect!

matt head already appointed to dragons 20s 2016.

Really? Would be a big loss if true.

Top young coach, though obviously he did spend most of his career at the Dragons so has more allegiance to them than to us.
