Western Suburbs Magpies Knock-On Effect NSW Cup coach Ben Gardiner has named his line-up for their Round 15 clash against Newcastle Knights at Lidcombe Oval.

Playmaker Billy Walters returns as starting five-eighth — and will partner Jock Madden in the halves — after featuring in the NRL lineup against Parramatta last Sunday afternoon.

Sione Tupou also comes into the starting side after being named at prop, while Daniel Sykes gets his chance on the interchange due to Thomas Freebairn’s unavailability.

He's actually the one player I had high hopes for. Thought we'd finally found our future pack leader and not just because he's a unit who adds some size, but rather the aggression he brought.
Really hope his defensive issues are being dealt with.
