NSW must pick Farah: Sheens

A BIG reason,,why we won in 2005,,NO PLAYERS were picked in State of Origin!!! Come September,,really who cares about State of Origin??? If it is NOT a stand alone game on Weekends,,I hope NO TIGERS get picked!!! Selfish, I know, but come September!!! On Farah's form,,last time he made a break from dummy half was way back in 2005!! They have played 7 games so far, Farah was suspended for 2 of them,,,so beats me what form thay are talking about Re Farah??? Word on the Street,,Farah makes more breaks in his Restraunt,,when picking up the plates!!!

This argument might have some merit if it was actually true. Fact is though, Farah made 10 linebreaks last year, so it might be wise to do your homework before sprouting nonsense such as this.

not to mention a couple of top 3 Dally M finishes in that time.

Farah has been excellent for us for a very long time, I d love to see him get to play origin this year

They ran that poll last year and Farah was way ahead then, as well. Still didn't get a look in for Origin though :unamused:

I can understand people not wanting him, or any of our other players, picked for what's rapidly becoming an annual 'nothing' series (especially for NSW fans), but the players see Origin a lot differently. It is obviously a burning desire for Robbie to be selected to represent his state again and I think we need to respect this, and be happy for him to play Origin, if chosen.

Not so much with Sauce or Lawrence, but in Robbie's case, it's about justice. As CB said, he has been unfairly overlooked for several years, for reasons none of us will probably ever know. If he had been replaced by someone, who was actually performing much better, then fair enough, but Ennis is only a reasonably good club hooker and he was seriously found wanting in all the Origin games he played, plus the inclusion of an aging and injured Dean Young last year was a real slap in Robbie's face.

Over the past couple of years, Farah may not have been playing quite as well as he did when he was originally selected in Origin, but he has still played consistently well and he has far more all round ability to offer than either Ennis, Young, Gidley or anyone else NSW have used in that role out of their desperation to jag a win. His non-selection since 2009 has been nothing short of an injustice, and I'll be extremely happy for Robbie if the NSW selectors select a team on actual ability and finally right the wrong this year.
