I gotta put my hand up for this one. I thought it was a crap team that Freddy picked and that Qld would walk it in. How wrong! Great performance by NSW and particularly some of the players I was very critical of - Jake T (has to play front row rather than lock), Maloney, Whighton, and only going in to the game with only 2 props.

Well done to all and sundry. Now, for game 3!

For all students of the NRL and wannabe coaches. I never realised how simple it is.
Here is the winning formula that all coaches should apply to team selections

If Effort = X
and Ability = Y

Then X + Y = Z (Selection Rating)

Put in any values you want and the answer =
Wighton and Turbo

For all those who got Mitchell and Crocker or Mitchell and Morris, you have not entered correct values into X and Y.

Just having a laugh with those defending Latrell Mitchell :smiley:

Maybe we should apply this formula to the players in the Tigers squad and hand it over the Madge.
Would love to see what some of you come up with some of the maligned players (Gamble, Farah, Brooks, Benji, etc.)
