Beatable.

I'd take the Tigers 1-12 against this mob let alone Queensland.

Worst thing is, Farah will be the scapegoat when we get mobbed 3-0…

Not the worst NSW team I have seen but it could of been better.

I like the spine but there are some players I dont understand why they are there. Hayne, Jennings, Creagh and Buhrer are the one's I am a bit baffled about.

I would of went:

B Morris Hayne
Lawrence Jennings
Prop Creagh
**Sims Buhrer**

I get the feeling Buhrer was a Bozo Fulton pick.

Can Sims play hooker and 5/8?

You have to be joking.. What a load of crap… Some of your best Ricky :crazy :crazy How can anyone justify some of these selections??? They will get hammered.. Robbie will Kill it and still be made responsible for the lose..I really want to go for the Blues but how can you follow that S..T...

Hayne, Merrin, Creagh, Burher and Bird what a joke. Oh yes and add Ricky Stupid to that list.
Morris for Hayne. Woods for Merrin. Mannah for Creagh. Sims for Burher. Anyone for Stupid.

No but Luke Lewis and Greg Bird can cover those positions, why have a bench utility when you have two utilities in the starting line up? I feel that if you have a couple of those players in the starting side you should have some size and impact on the bench, Buhrer provides neither.

Lawrence for Jennings
B. Morris for Hayne
Woods for Merrin
Sims for Creagh
Watmough for Buhrer

NSW have a chance

Geez I've copped an ear bashing of the Missus the last 6 years. With that team looks like its set to continue

Well let's leave out Daniel Harrison who is probably a fill-in… Out of Manly's current 17 they have 9 players who have been picked for NSW. Given they have 3 NZ reps and 2 Queenslanders that's a massive percentage. Danny Lussick and Jorge Taufua should get measured up for NSW blazers and now. It will save a lot of time...

Christ almighty if we have to play Buhrer at 5/8 we're in a LOT of trouble. You'd have Bird, Lewis, Hayne at the least before they put Jamie Buhrer there.

x2\. NSW selectors got it wrong yet again, no surprise really. Qld should win yet again whilst NSW while probably grab game 3 after finally making the right selections.

Willow the only way NSW will make the right selections will be choosing the right coach and selectors

Most of your problems right there

I agree Happy.

Jennings, Hayne, Merrin and Creagh have all been tried before. NSW need to bring in some fresh blood and try something different!

Are some of you for real? Drop Hayne (one of the best NSW players over the past 5 years) for Morris (one of the worst to ever play for the Blues)? Hayne has been the only outside back for the Blues who has consistently worried the Qld defence, he'll kill it again. Morris lets in 5 tries a game for NSW.

Dropping Bird is even dumber, he always lifts when he plays for the Blues.

Apart from Creagh (over Sims and Watmough) and I guess Buhrer (although he is a quality player) and possibly Jennings (Attitude reasons) it's probably the best side we could name. One thing's for sure, it's the best spine NSW have put on the park since 2005 (Mini/Braith/Joey/Bedsy).

The reason we have 1 prop on the bench is because Gal goes 80 in the front row so we only need to swap the second prop out over the whole game.

MM the one issue with the Gallen playing 80 minutes is injury

If he gets hurt no props and no rotation Very big risk

Fair enough, surely guys like T-Rex have enough size to slot in up front. You can't pick your team worrying about injuries. The guy is very rarely injured anyway (and yes I am aware he did miss today's game).
